Writing A Novel In Tapas

Hi, I am new and looking for a website that can post my novels. Tapas is one of my top choices right now.
I also have some questions that need to be answered.

1. Is Tapas famous for novels? Especially Action Fantasy because my work belongs to that genre.

2. Does Tapas support famous works to be adapted into comics?

I looked through and found out that author turtleme has posted his novel here. I also hope that I can be like that one day.

1. Tapas does have a lot of webnovels, and it does promote them. Tapas tends to prefer romance, but action fantasy tends to do okay. There have been successful webnovels in the genre, anyway.

2. With Tapas, you will not be supported by the company unless you are already popular, at which point they might start to promote your work. If you want your novel adapted into a comic form though, you're going to need to do that one yourself, either by hiring or collaborating with an artist or becoming one yourself.

If you want your action fantasy novel to be successful, you will have to find ways to advertise outside of Tapas, too.

1. Tapas is pretty known for comics, but as well as novels. Action Fantasy is a wide genre and competitive to stand out, but romance is definitely the most popular, in my opinion.

2. To be considered for an adaptation by Tapas/Kakao, you need:

-To be Premium
- Massive statistics and a big reader base. It used to be easier for premium novels back in the day to get a comic with as little as 100k views. Nowadays, you need a LOT more than that and substantial subs/likes.
- Even if you have those two things above, there's the hurtle of even getting picked up by stakeholders to invest in the story (because Tapas is now owned by another company).

Turtleme is definitely a great inspiration.

My suggestion is to create a story with a plot/cover that stands out in the sea of novels trying to reach the same goal, focus on building a loyal reader base (not sub4sub), and networking.

If you're doing Action Fantasy, I would also consider crossposting on Royal Road. The most well-known Action Fantasy stories here (the ones that got adapted into comics) got their start over there, so it couldn't hurt posting there and to Tapas at the same time. Especially since Action Fantasy (especially LitRPG Isekai) is the most popular genre on RR.
