But also helped out with writing for an HBO short called "Kent Hammer". I'm a director for an animated commercial company where my job is to clean up storyboards and write for scripts. They're fairly new and the website isn't out yet, but it's my highest profession atm. I also write for another group of animators who work in the industry. They're currently working on a short that I wrote. Willing to share more details of that in Discord DM's. I'm also almost finished negotiating for showrunning a YouTube project.
Don't wanna braaaaaaaaaaaag but since money is involved (and since everyone else is recommending books or Udemy courses), I had a relative borrow my writing style for college and since then it's a helped bunch of people. Here's how it happened; she had to write reports and she used my writing as a basis. Her professors were so impressed that some professionals from Oxford were like "wtf". On top of that it inspired her university to create this writing competition to motivate people into getting into science. There's people who're doctors because of me. I plan on writing a book with the relative somewhere down the line, but the point is, you'd be getting something that's fresh off the table with me.
As for rates, $15-20 an hour. Keep in mind also with you, you'd be learning your way around sites like Tapas. Best to support your local Tapas writers in any way :v
But yeh, I'm no joke and I take writing VERY seriously (I have people on this site who can vouch for me). Message back if you're interested. I'm always lookin' for new gigs (and with the rise of A.I., it's difficult for up-and-coming writers like me to get paying jobs).
