Yandere Characters : Like them or Hate them?

I mean I get people who aren't just crushing on villains/evil characters but worshiping them to an extreme but seems like a moral crusade nowadays, like soccer moms trying to ban violent videogames level of dumb. Like you don't even need to have a shrine built of the character to get criticism, just mildly liking the character means you're a terrible person lol

I love well-written yanderes regardless of wether it's a serious story or comedy.
The way some fans fetishise them and try to defend their actions can be seriously disturbing though^^;

I don't think there's anything wrong with finding yanderes sexy (it's a popular trope for a reason) but not acknowledging that it's abuse can be outright dangerous.
