Context:
-You and the boys are safe; this is a humorous situation and also you kinda-sorta live there
-THIS IS AN OPENING SCENE FOR A COMIC THAT REFUSES TO BE WRITTEN AND I'M GETTING DESPERATE
This comic in particular lives rent-free in my head 24/7 because it matches my sense of humor perfectly (so whenever I think of a joke I always think of doing it with those characters), so I always feel like I need to write it, but I've been trying unsuccessfully for the past 2 years. Somehow all the funny parts magically disappear on the journey from my brain to the screen...
I don't care anymore, though; I'm going to write it anyway even if it sucks: at least if I can get the story down, I can make it funnier later. But every time I need to do a cute little segue to another scene, just a little funny bit to get by, my mind just blanks. =/ I think the script is cursed. Anyway, I need help...
