And maybe why these ones where chosen for them.
My two are from NTNWill’s pokemon team.
Yep, Will has a somewhat limited team between ghosts, water and grass. His most regular to use at the forefront of battles is his Cloyster. Not much can get through it’s shell. In times of strife, he’ll use Haunter and Night Shade. His Dragonair packs a lot of punch, trained to be both special and fast. This can summarize his personality- generally really kind and sweet, but he’s defensive and can pack a lot of power. He’s not a trainer to take lightly.
Crow's pokemon team.
Crow, while gentle and kind, spent a long time training his pokemon for sheer power and speed. If his Volcarona doesn’t burn you to cinders, his Hypno and Gardevoir will make a mess of you. If you’re still there, Sandslash will bury you alive, and Tyranitar will stomp you dead. And, while his Jigglypuff isn’t the strongest, it does know Thunder and Fire Blast, so you’re basically going to die one way or the other.
Not sure how you did the pic thing but um. Kal would literally just collect electric type pokemon and his favorite would be jolteon. Colt would try to be friends with all pokemon and probably be a breeder
I grabbed the individual pics from I think it was bulbapedia. https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Pok%C3%A9mon_by_National_Pok%C3%A9dex_number
Here are the teams of my main characters from Alone in the Night. This was fun but surprisingly tough to do. I hadn't thought about what kind of pokemon they'd like before this so it was a challenge to find good pokemon to them. But it was fun.
Remy's team Remy's team consist of mainly dark types with little bit of fire and ghost sprinkled in there. He likes pokemon who are loyal and ready to help Remy to protect those who are important to him. As a pack animal of a kind himself, Remy has naturally gravitated towards pokemon that like to live in packs which explains the many canine-like pokemon.
Umbreon and Arcanine are the defense of his team with great supportive moves and abilities (Toxic, Wish, Morning Sun, Will-o-Wisp, Foul Play, Intimidate as ability). Mimikyu and Houndoom are the main offense while Zoroark confuses the opponent with its Illusion ability. Mightyena is mainly just another intidimate user and moral support since it lacks on the fire power compared to the other team members.
Em's team Em's pokemon team looks cute but can kick butt too. She likes pokemon that are gentle and caring but who can also defend and fight if needed. She doesn't particularly like a single specific type but grass, normal and fairy seem to be her top choices.
Em's team's strong offense are Tsareena, Lilligant and Sylveon. With Sylveon and Tsareena being extremely strong on their own, and Lilligant joining in after it sets up. In desperate situations Togekiss will attempt the paralysis-flinch strategy with Thunder Wave and Air Slash but Em doesn't like relying on such an annoying tactic. Furfrou acts as a defensive pokemon who also likes to deliver some heavy attacks on opponents who don't resist normal-type moves. Lopunny is also in a more supportive role since it doesn't have the mega stone yet.
(Maybe I got a bit too excited >.< )
hmm this sounds fun , ok lets start with one of my hero characters shadow fang
a houndoom,arcanine,unbreon,midnight lycanroc,lucario,and apossibly victini
I have no idea about what moves and stats individual pokemon have, so I'll just go by the types and looks.
Himuri's team:
Yes, those are all cats.
Sakari's team:
Just thought that psychic, electric and fairy pokemon kinda fit him.
Kiyomi's team:
It probably makes no sense. xD
Iwao's team:
Dark/ghost/poison type pokemon here. I also put a Tentacruel here, because of tentacles and "cruel".
Oh man I've been dying to have one of these kinds of threads~
I've actually made a comic of LnR having a pokemon battle but I haven't released it yet :'''D still in my sketchbook and it isn't much of a spoiler anyway.
L's team:
L's a got a team consisting of mostly ice and fairy, with some steel, electric, grass and poison. Venusaur is his starter since day one as a trainer. Weavile is his fastest pokemon. Mawile's got high stats on defense. Ampharos is his pokemon that can mega evolve, making its typing electric/dragon with fabulous long hair. Don't mess with his Sylveon though, looks cute on the outside, but can wipe their opponent out with a Moonblast. Crabominable is a bit clumsy but can punch the daylights out of anyone.
L's trainer class is a chef
R's team:
R is specialized in psychic types, but she also has an eye for colorful pokemon she'd keep in her team. She often uses Hypno as her first pokemon in battle. They at times communicate telepathically. Delphox is shy and gentle but a badass when it's time to kick butt. Musharna has high special attack. Aurorus may be weak to a lot of types, but is ready to take anything and never gives up. Smeargle knows the moves Hypnosis and Dream Eater just in case it deals with pokemon weak to psychic. Scizor's got high defense, special defense and speed.
R is pretty much torn whether she keeps her training class as a pokemon breeder or an artist ahah
I thought this was a post about drawing OCs as pokemon trainers haha
Same ahahah I'd actually post the one I made soon~
I'm sure it's fine to post drawings. It just adds to the topic more ^_^
If they include part of or information about the team in the posts, then sure that's not really off-topic
Teams of the main characters from Hexameron. This was fun
Gil's team:
Summer's team:
Eldritch Guest's team: (Just kidding. He wouldn't even understand the concept)
Good lord, he gets Darkrai and Ditto and Gengar? Screwed central. Can't Gengar learn Dig or Stomp or that one earthquake move that hits from 1-10 on the scale? Terrifying.
Yeah, a Mewtwo is just sprinkles on top of it all =)
Decided to draw Cozmata as a Pokémon trainer! I thought Sandshrew would be a great pick for her, since it's small and she lives in a sandy place.
Ooh, this is a great idea! I'll do teams with Mortimer and Veriesin, Splitting Image's main characters! I don't think they'd have full teams though, not the kind of characters that would put much though into having 6 partners.
Mortimer's Team: *
Mortimer loves birds and pretty much cosplays as a Honchkrow, so it and Mismagius fit him perfectly, and a shiny Fearow since it's the closest pokémon to a heron and, being a prince, a noble would easily give shinies to gain favor with the royal family. He'd also probably feel bad about the struggles of Absol to be understood and see some good in Spiritomb, though one can only wonder if he'd make them skilled fighters or just spoil them with treats.
Veriesin's Team:
She'd love Hawlucha's fighting spirit to train along with, and take a few other hot headed pokémon along for the ride. Veri would also fall in love with the first Sandile she sees, but who could blame her with those adorable little leggies and a matching power over the earth.
This is lovely~ I should really be drawin' mine soon
My comics rather small, so you might not know my characters, but I'll give this a shot anyway. my comic is Al pal and pals
Al pal:
A well rounded team, but not without its quirks. Two pokemon based on being slow or lazy, maybe due to procrastination. and then dolphin, because who doesn't love elephants?
April:
You'll notice and underlying theme of small cute pokemon. Yeah she wants to pick like Al pal, with two similar choices, but she can't help but pick the cute ones. The one exception is Muk. Why, no one will ever know, but she loves it all the same.
Please note, this character is 15 cm tall... Abra is cute.
Mugen's the trainer who takes battling somewhat seriously. He just got into EVs and IVs, he's still learning though so go easy on him pls
Haruka's a fan of the Espeon/Umbreon duo bc of Colliseum, and she's stuck in Gen 1 for the most part. She got Lucario in a Wonder Trade, but stuck with him bc he was cool lol
Wynona's not so much into the battles. The few Pokemon she has are all smol and precious. She's got a huge soft spot for Poochyena and Cubone especially~
