This is a great idea for a topic! It was fun to look back. I only started posting my comic a little while ago, but I already feel like there have been some changes in my overall style!

The latest page is kind of disorienting by design buuuut in general, I feel like I have a better feel for utilizing paneling and gutter space for a desired outcome. The paneling in the first few pages just feels super congested to look back over The colors also just look much duller and kinda boring to me

Weeeell, it was more because having giant splotches of white in a comic that only rarely uses pure white just looked weird to me after a while. So I just went 'screw it everyone of my mains get their own coloured speech bubble'.

Making it easier was a big pro though ngl

Ahhh thank youuu!! I only recently started working with color and the struggle has been real, so I'm really happy to hear it's getting there! And I'm glad the subtlety of expression showed through; even though I actually also have schizophrenia like the MC, I struggled to depict someone with that kind of flat affect because I have the opposite problem (I'm muuuch more like the other MC, who is the emotional flood to his emotional dessert )

aa thank youuuuu i might tweak the sepia palette later, but i definitely wanted to make it easy to distinguish between past and present. i'm glad you like it!

awe man, i have a friend and a friends relative whos a schizophrenic too, mental disabilities are so hard to really talk about so it means a lot that you have two MCs that are able to portray what you see and hear ;w; granted... a lotta OCs are a part of us after all!

This looks so good! The anatomy and paneling does look great, but also your strokes look like they've gotten really confident and the new line quality is great. Love the coloring, too!

i could definitely tell it was the past, im more accustomed to darker colorings and panels projecting the opposite so its a definite nice change than what i'm useto <33.
