[image] This is also a chapter cover for chapter 2, which happens mostly during day, so I wanted to kinda reflect that in the cover (though I think I might look into making a new one before the chapter's out because I changed the art style by literally just a couple pages into it). Most of the com…

@Tulmut How on earth do you get that city architecture lining so good? Because however you do it is perfection. Your foreshortening and dimensions are beautiful, and the amount of detail you put into the windows and rooftop is insane! Plus, I've always loved a pretty scene in a dark city, so you c…

As of yet, I gotta say it's Marcy [image] [image] But she'd rather die than admit it.

The weather is constantly going from freezing with no clouds and horrible wind to 70°F (21°C for ye other folks) and completely blanketed with fog and clouds. No in-between, since American southeast winters just be like that.

So I went through many deep, deep layers of google translate, using many, many different languages and I don't even know how I got here enjoy The translated version: Aluminum lives in a humane, powerful, and inhuman world; Terrics. In his country, many ruins, such as the gap between rich and poo…

@alcchron I love how you draw colors! The page has a beautiful color scheme, and none of your shadows or highlights are devoid of a bright pop! It works really well with your line layer too, since none of the colors are extremely dark, letting the thin, clean lines do their magic. @Utamee You…

Looks so friggin good!!! Thanks! (And to be honest I should just have the rest of my comic be Marcy eating random foods)

[image] First page in a better style, and I'm very happy with my improvement!

[image] I'd like both panels, if that's easy for you! I don't have an Insta account for my art yet, though. And to be honest, I don't have much anywhere to share it, but if ever I do, 100% will credit! Thanks for the opportunity, and if it's too inconvenient without an insta of my own (or l…

[image] Marcy: "Nice looking jacket! With that bright, you must be super sure you ain't ever gonna get it dirty, I guess."

YO OOPS SORRY FORGOT THERE WAS A POST my bad @Freemints30 I like how you portray light and dark! Like, everything's dark except the fleck of bright in their eye which really brings out that shinyness. And the dark background especially brings out your brightly colored textboxes! And in addition,…

Whenever you see any art at all, think of something good about it! Reading a comic, what makes you like that panel? A doodle by someone you know -- what do you like about it? You wouldn't look to whoever drew it and say "that's trash, a joke, stupid and meaningless." You'd compliment it! Slowly tra…

@O-1-D Yoooo, that lineless drawing? Awesome. It's all color and yet the boundaries stay perfectly clear. And how you keep everything in the black to red spectrum except for the eyes really makes them pop out from the rest of the drawing! Plus, the safety pins are a nice detail to see how the hood…

My comic never got a massive start on the first day for either platforms or anything, and right now it's still only a couple months old, but webtoons is heavily in the lead with 40 subs, with tapas at 10. I think it's just that the reader base is larger on webtoons, so more people who are open to ar…

FINALLY FINISHED A BETTER COVER thank Goodness my old one didn't even have a single character face in it [image]

@KoreanTacos An awesome place to put some foreshortening and angle; it adds depth to the whole picture! I also love how you put so much detail into the ropes, wood, and leaves -- and the texture in the trees! And the fireworks! And the hand-done shiny gold letters look Very Good!

Sorry about taking so long for this one, this week has just been super busy! @BitterBadger The sheer amount of action poses you drew in this page is awesome! Each pose looks animate with perfect anatomy, but you still keep the page organized and easy to read. And I also love how you keep the lin…

So I realized like halfway through doing yesterday's comments that that was a lot of replies, all back-to-back, and if i didn't want the forum coding to brutally pipe murder me, I should prooobably start doing them in one post. @O-1-D Ok this is kinda random but how you bend the stripes on the pla…

The way you portray shadows looks s u p e r pleasing to the eye! Like dangit mate, how it captures just exactly how the clothes on the chest bend and move, and some places naturally have a harder edge to the shadow and the others have dimmer portions give it such a sense of depth and 3D feel!

The t e x t u r e with this one makes me so happy! I love how the foreground looks cleanly colored, and then underneath that, the eel-dragon that looks made out of stars, and then the character underneath it having a rough watercolor look to his coloring. Those texture differences are just like the …

There are like, so many awesome things about this but what impresses me the most is how clear it looks while still appearing to be done in watercolor! Especially online that is one h a r d look to pull off and you did it so well that if I didn't have shoes on, my socks'd be knocked off!

Oooooo, the style and the focus of this page? 100/10. John is right there in the thick of it, and how the page super zooms in on his face to show how Diego is just completely tunnel visioning on John is G E N I U S (I should try that one day). Plus, I like how in harmony the background is with the f…

That COLOR PALETTE! I love how you kept all of the colors so vibrant, and how your shadows turn to blue? Literally so good. The sky of yellow to cyan, the greens, blues and tans in the clothes, mixed with the details in the background just really make me smile!

The intensity of this is VERY. VERY GOOD. The bright colors of the background, with simple patterns that convey the mood each of the characters sort of springing up in the middle is such a good touch! Plus how the lining and colors switch to the main themes of each of the characters? Awesome.

OOO! Can I just elaborate on how much I like the way you draw eyes? The shading from top to bottom giving it that lovely lovely shiny look, and especially how you could look at the eyes and eyebrows alone and know the mood/expression of the entire character, every time!

Oh, and I actually have to get up super early so I'm headed to bed rn, but I'll get back here tomorrow, in case someone wants to post theirs until then!

The shading is what sticks out to me the most! With the light streaming through the bus windows, the soft light coating the edges of everything it's facing looks super satisfying! I also love the way it brings the saturated tones of the colors! Like, the color scheme is beautifully soft, but the pop…

I LOVE the expressions in yours. I don't know the character, but I can already tell a little bit of their personality from the panels I'm seeing them in. You make each panel clear to see what action or emotion is going on, an extremely important point in comics!
