I think those that asked you to work on the lighting/shadows were right. Everything else, is basic drawing concepts, not really related to a "flat" look. Every image has a light source. You should imagine a strong one somewhere in the scene and use that as a guide.
This is The Big Dynamic Robot Show! Comic turned song turned video...
Well suppose you want to say "I have THIS number of readers!". How you pull that off and count what as the reliable number?
Can it be triggered by the same person(s) over and over? What if the person doesn't have an account? Does that count too? Aww shucks.
Hate to ask, but does anyone know what the EYE icon means? There's an EYE counter - followed by subscriptions and finally a rating. Is the EYE unique views (by IP, device or account)? Reading sessions, like 1 person reading XX chapter(s)? [image] For the 1,099 number above, is that TOTAL uniqu…
Always Running sounds like a perfecting ending theme to a comic turned into Anime. I can see it in my mind, already.
Dump them all and keep looking until you find one you LOVE. "Like" isn't where you stop. When you get to one that you love, you won't need to seek the opinions of others.
Came across this video. Thought it would be a good help.
So we have advice that leans towards doing what YOU (the creator) wants to do - despite the vocalized fans' wishes. So I guess we will see no more complaining posts from these people when..... - a story they like is adapted and the original story is changed. - a show takes characters and changes/f…

No it doesn't. There's no such thing as a healthy motivation or goal. There's only healthy/unhealthy PEOPLE working towards something. You have some other issue(s) that manifests itself over this unhealthy obsession with this one bend. People who don't see this PATTERN pop in and offer words of …
Aside from all the other great answers - is the cost of resurrections for your future stories and for you, as a creator. Once you bring someone back, you remove ANY stakes for any future death- since you might just decide to bring them back at any point. Why would any reader feel anything about a …
I don't see the connection between a museum and this doorway. Cool image, but not sure how it fits. And since the subtitle also alludes to a museum, it makes it even more...non-connected. I expect to see something related to....oh, you get my thought.
[image] And, it's even free to read for a limited time.
You get what you create. Skicoak pretty much gave you the answer, right there. You're doing the equivalent of asking- "If I HIDE something, what if someone doesn't find it? Is that okay?" That's an approach thing. If you NEVER want anyone to miss something, don't hide it in any way. Simple. Th…
This is like your fourth epiphany since I've seen this comic come up. I think you have some other blockage/issue and all the anxiety over this book is only a peripheral manifestation. This property just isn't that serious. Lawd, what would you do if it ever did catch on - when you've been hangin…

I think, just travel. People say they are going on an adventure or just came back from an adventure. I think it's in the definition. ad·ven·ture /adˈven(t)SHər,ədˈven(t)SHər/ Learn to pronounce noun an unusual and exciting, typically hazardous, experience or activity. "her recent adventures in Ita…
At this point, I've pretty much done all the dumb stuff. 1) I've exited a program and been asked about saving and said NO, only to realize I should have saved the most recent file. 2) I've hit SAVE instead of SAVE AS and overwritten an important original file. 3) I've sent a non-comic related pers…

Hard Drive failure. Bad enough on its own- worse when it's your fault. The side panel on my computer was open because of the heat and I spilled soda in the case. Lost a lot of material. Lesson learned.
I tend to read my stories over and over again, so the time working on them versus the time enjoying them is a gap that is always closing. When I made comics (and anything, really) for myself, I tended to have a lower bar of execution. A lot of things remain tucked away on a hard drive, unfinished. …
Just remember, your comic is supposed to have more than one reader. In that case, the page that took hours to make is consumed by hundreds of readers and that time, collectively, adds up. The parallel is music. You spend years and tons of money to craft a song that only lasts 3 minutes and 20 se…
The word troupe makes me think of some kind of circus. And performers. The hair flying around looks like super motion- flipping, spinning twisting. Romantic relationship -with the backdrop of a futuristic circus.

I still think you make statements like this that have several errors in them. Each sentence is factually wrong - and it's the opposite. 1) Your biggest error in logic is comparing a webcomic or any "hobby level" thing to a finished Hollywood (professionally done) blockbuster. 2) It doesn't cos…
You have the absolute answer already, so what are we here talking about this? What would anyone want to help you change your feelings? Why do you want to change your feelings? You're trying to name "objective things" to support your subjective feelings. I don't think you need to and aside fr…
