Hey guys! I am a young artist tired of having ideas in her head and am currently working on a webcomic called Poison Heart. I hope you guys check it out, and I'd love to check out others comics as well!
I think is more about the weight of the lines. Something like this [image] Source: http://figuredrawingiadt.blogspot.pe/2011/11/20-line-weight-examples.html Regards!
Hello, name's Amira and I'm starting my first serious webcomic here, Alex The Whimsical, and since I'm sort of new here I would like to see your comics too! I really like to read new interesting comics and honestly the tapas interface isn't doing it for me. So yeah post an intro about yourself and …
I enjoy really sarcastic characters who don't pull their punches. The less consideration they have for others feelings, the more freedom I get with making their dialogue as rude as possible. Preferably, they're also proactive, but not reckless. Maybe they don't care about burning bridges, but they c…
I really enjoy writing very calculating characters, who suffer from internal struggles partially from said calculatedness. It's fun when characters contradict themselves in some way, be it in ideologies, actions, personalities etc. It makes me want to develop them even more and see how they (don't) …
Hello bracomics and welcome! I am also just a hatchling what comes to comics, but this is really something I've always wanted to do! I checked out your comic and it has good amount of humour and very recognizable characters. Keep it up! Here is my comic (intro at least):
Thanks for the welcome! Haha, shamelessly promote away, I'd love some new comics to read here >%O Your comics got a cool style!
oh my gosh this so very helpful!! thank you so much for taking the time to write this. I've just now gotten into hopefully writing my own webcomic and story soon here on tapastic and this helped me a lot getting an understanding on what to do. Thank you! (also if anyone else has any tips, i'd be m…
The buffer is all about management! If you can have a month done in advance, that gives you a month to create! The buffer period has to take into consideration how long you personally take on a page per upload. It really is only up to you.
Always work with what's most convenient for you, above all. If you're not great with English but you're fluent with French, start with French and see where it goes. As long as you don't push yourself.
Thank you for your answer! I am going to try that! But most of the people present here speak English, I do not know if there is others French, thus it would be better that I begin with English and that later I propose it in French?
The options I can think of is stick to the language you're good at, and perhaps if you're willing to reach a wider audience you can have a proofreader to help you translate your dialogue as a separate series. Simply, start with a french version, then if you want, parallel an English version of you…
Really helpful advice here, actually got me uploading a story not just saying i would! These conversations make it all seem possible to at least make a start, the website is easy to use but the skills & success of the biggest comics are intimidating, suppose it just a way of putting yourself off …
Thanks for the advice! I'll make sure to bookmark this as I try to improve my comic. I'm new here and I've never done a webcomic for real so I need all the help I can get!
Nice to meet you guys! I'm DJWright, an aspiring writer (pun intended) and just joining you on Tapastic this month. I have a few ideas in the works and I'm going to put a lot of work in getting them fleshed out as best as I can. Being a one man band, it is gonna be a little difficult but Rome wasn…
