I’ve cut, and rewrote so many characters that I may as well have started from scratch. I’m a bigger fan of just reworking a character, they tend to be a lot better when you need to rework them into the story. Sometimes I’ll cut a character then find a spot for them in a new story later down the line…
It’s a serious topic so I’d tag it as mature, and have a content warning just to be on the cautious side but DO NOT take it down. It’s really well done and can help others going through similar issues.
I have 3 men, 3 women and one non-binary character. It just worked out that way, I hadn’t planned to have a fairly equal ratio. I don’t have a preference really, I write queer romance so gender depends on what I’m working on. https://tapas.io/series/Ready-Spaghetti
I would say that once your stress is manageable you should just go for it! Your art will improve, and you’ll be happy to get your story out there! The improvement I’ve made in my art since starting my comic has been drastic! I’ll link it for encouragement bc it was ROUGH at first. And I’ve gotten a …
Google translate version: Luciano, who has acted in a school play, discovers that theater is not everything. His fellow actors are fighting shadow wars with aliens in a secret government organization and he's a new recruit. High school is tough on its own, but learning the lines, dealing with alien …
I just mean if someone has chosen to view your story, they probably already like some aspect. If nothing appeals to them then they would probably just pass over it. I have a comic that is BL romance with a sci-fi twist. No one who reads my comic complains about it, but I know that someone who doesn’…
I don’t think a long form story can do this. Too many opinions, and characters, actions or personalities are likely to turn some people off. But typically a short story, can have a very wide appeal. Certainly nothing can appeal to everyone. But something like Shirley Jackson’s “The Lottery” is fairl…
Y’all have such cool ones! I have a thank you card then I send extra bonus art to people who donate ink... [image] https://tapas.io/series/Ready-Spaghetti
If you’re still taking submissions check out my comic! https://tapas.io/series/Ready-Spaghetti It’s a love story, about boys who fight aliens and deal with political drama. It’s somewhat mature... like 14 up probably lol

If you decide to publish drop the link!
If you're worried it's better to just tag it! On my comic I start episodes that may have a trigger with tags like: TW: Blood (Mild) Which is fine on a non-mature tagged episode, think a paper cut. However gore would need to be tagged as mature. You can also tag in the previous episodes descript…
I just found your comic and it looks really awesome! These are my main characters for my comic Ready Spaghetti I need to update Luciano and Neptune's Character sheets to reflect the more current art style. Feel free to draw any of them if you want! I look forward to reading more of your comic! […
Huh I'm not sure if it quite qualifies... are aliens sci-fi or supernatural or both? https://tapas.io/series/Ready-Spaghetti A dramedy about high schoolers fighting aliens and falling in love.
https://tapas.io/series/Ready-Spaghetti My story is a dramedy about high schoolers fighting aliens and falling in love! I just read through your comic and it looks really cute, I hope you heal up soon and are able to continue!
The only way to improve is to keep at it! I know it's hard and usually very disheartening to not be able to create what you see in your head, but doing work with a goal like you are is honestly the best way to get better. I started my comic knowing my art wasn't where I wanted it to be, but within t…
Like many posts on here, I think it depends. If I'm struggling with a pose, I'll find the pose online and trace the shape (like using circles for placement) then do my sketch over my 'trace' only. I still tweak it and add my own details, and I try to avoid using other artists work, so I opt for l…
[image] This was sent to me the same day I noticed it was removed. That was earlier this year, maybe they've gotten better with their policies. I had to do like 3 revisions. It was webtoonsupport@webtoon.com with my case number as the subject line, and I only spoke with one person, who seemed to b…
https://tapas.io/series/Ready-Spaghetti After being cast in a lead role of his school play, Luciano discovers that the theatre isn’t all it seems. His fellow actors are fighting a shadow war against aliens in a secret government organization, and he’s their newest recruit. High school is tough as …
Ask your brother if maybe he wants to draw too since he's so interested in what your doing. As for other people when you notice them over your shoulder just open a new layer for digital, or off in the corner for traditional, and just draw some.. erm male genitalia, the cruder the better. When the…
Are you sure they didn't contact you? When my comic was taken down they emailed me and when I asked for clarification they provided examples and told me which panels to change and did help me get it to a webtoon-approved level of censorship. It was seriously petty and put me back like 3 days but I w…
I'm always excited to see new stories! There are quite a few self-promo forums up here, but I haven't seen any that are more narrowed down. So leave a link and a one sentence description of your comic for others to see and check out! My comic is a dramatic comedy about fighting aliens and falli…
Sometimes it's good to narrow down your scope because it can make things more clear! It looks good so far!
It depends. My comic was removed for nudity, non-sexual, and not showing genitalia, but I was able to have it restored after doing quite a bit of editing. But that was one episode and it was only removed after being flagged. So someone saw my comic and reported it. The only problem I foresee is that…
My Synopsis: After being cast in a lead role of his school play, Luciano discovers that the theatre isn’t all it seems. His fellow actors are fighting a shadow war against aliens in a secret government organization, and he’s their newest recruit. High school is tough as it is, but learning lines, …
Whether that be actual story or art style, characters etc. My original concept was a low-fantasy low-magic setting... Then I dropped the magic and had a high school romance.... and then got bored so I let the idea sit for about 7 months... Then I added aliens and here we are. https://tapas.io/se…
Comments! If only one person read my comic and commented on every episode I'd still be happy! I love to interact with readers. It's seriously the highlight of my week. https://tapas.io/series/Ready-Spaghetti My comic!
It depends on the characters. I tend to like characters that seem to genuinely like each other (as people before lovers) or that can just be goofy dorks together. But I ALSO love a good enemies to friends to lovers trope. But above all else people who form a good dynamic. Like allows the other to us…
Ready Spaghetti Humanities last hope against an Alien invasion is high school theatre kids.
So far I think it's really cute. The art is very bright, the saturation is a little hard to muss through on my phone but wasn't difficult on the desktop. I think it's just the DPI difference. But overall I think it has a lot of promise! Seriously keep up the good work. I'm excited to see more of it,…
