As a kid, I used to read Mickey Mouse comics. The first time I drew a comic was when I was about 13/14. It was a kind of Superman short comicbook drawn on some recycled paper. The villain was one of my school teachers (giant). I still have that piece of paper somewhere...

Teach them to see simple shapes in complex objects, to think in 3D. But, very important, just force them to draw as much as they can.

I mainly listen to soundtracks (instrumental)! I love them! They help me to reach focus.
I was wondering the same ... and i think I'm gonna rebuild my comic structure....one page, one episode. I tried to use the app too, and one page for episode is much better. :-/
Don't worry about it. Try to do your best and get better, but always remember that many comics have become very popular despite looking awful. If you have something to say, that's the most important thing.
