oooh, it varies. i tend to get distracted a lot, so it takes me a while to produce a page of a comic with readjusting the poses and speech bubbles and all. i think it comes down to needing to storyboard better. short answer: 1-2 hours with frequent breaks; i'd say 4/7 days a week
Music for sure! I love instrumentals (Jazzhop especially), and I find they put me in a creative mood. Sometimes, if I listen to music with words, i tend to get distracted. And sitting somewhere comfortably helps me too

I usually write my story outlines on paper, Word documents (OpenOffice is also a good alternative), or the notes app on my phone. Then, I save them to a USB or Dropbox.
