im really curious about gore and violence with webtoons and what they will allow

So we lets say we do need the audience to know something terrible/disgusting has happened because it is needed to move the plot forward. But we are also not going for shock factor and just flat out showing it all graphically. What are some techniques you would use?

So far so good but in the beginning where you introduce the characters the panels are orientated wrong if you read on a device that can't be flipped to the side .

school uniforms are cool. The people complaining about why not right to left are the few younger and older people who are just hard core into Japanese culture (usually younger) "fake manga" would also be a term used by these few people. If you drew it and you call it a manga then its a manga. It …

Im seeing a lot of usually young comic authors on here creating comics/manga about being a Japanese person in japan and/or A kid in Highschool, in japan, following tropes and creating story's that are often just short of being clones of popular manga. Now i understand we do have people here that…

remember there will never be a point where you look at your work and think everything is perfect because art is a constant journey and perfection is impossible remember that you will never be able to draw like any of the artists you admire because you are not them you don't have there hands or bra…

just my 2 cents here but from my experience if you expect me to read a long conversation or a wall of text. I first have to be immersed in your comic enough to care or spend my time reading it

woops read as favorite part of drawing for some reason Least favorite part would be: getting your brain to lock on to the correct perspective and getting to to stay there for the entire drawing

We are in an age were there is a super saturation of media and most of the producers (mostly big company's)create them with a money and profits as there first priority. Which from a company standpoint makes sense except for one thing. People are not stupid and can easily tell when a work was made…

Grew up a shameless weeb. Only within the last few years started looking for media exclusively elsewhere (still love me some manga or anime when its good however) 1.Hiroya oku 2.Kentaro Miura 3.Hirohiko Araki 4.sae_jin 5.Paulie Blade 6.RM dooley 7.Donny Yi George

This makes me think about the whole how does king crimson work thing before we had the anime to explain.

Thanks for all the feed back everyone! my favorite author Hiroya oku(Gantz, inuyashiki etc) uses 3d software to assist with his works. I have been setting up scenes and using them like an inital sketch. to go over.I Have skills in drawing and in 3D I realize however i am a rather slow artist and i…

Hello everyone the question is what do you think of using 3d assistance for creating a comic. in this case im more talking about using for example the 3d models in clip studio and tracing over them. Not so much creating a fully 3d comic like in ComiPo!. 3D assistance is cheating 3D assistanc…

Anyone here who's comic is my cup of tea Would you like a smallish review?

The author of Jojo's bizarre adventure only under very extreme circumstance redoes a drawing. "because i want to hold onto that live feeling i don't redo" he describes it like being a live performance that only happens once and believes the same can be applied to art. So if your pages don't look…

Great feed back so far. Still looking for more!

the 3 excluded categories are based on either they already get a ton of love and personal preference. As far as adult stories i will give an explanation imo I am 26 A story written by a 16 year old will usually not appeal to an adult because a 16 year old usually doesn't have the same life e…
