Is there any way to turn off ads for my comic? Or better control what gets shown? I'd rather not have any revenue than have a certain political figure's grotty mug anywhere near my comic, nor do I want anyone to think I endorse them. Is there anything I can do?

Got a new MxP page up! Someone's not happy... [image]
train of thought not great this episode of MxP: [image]
Got another page of MxP up! Now with 85% more hand-holding. [image]
Just came off a big ol hiatus and got three pages up! For bandwidth's sake, I'll just post the last one. [image]
I've noticed the general consensus on Line Webtoon is that they prefer longer, less frequent updates more than shorter, more frequent ones. I'm not on Webtoon yet, but I've heard this preference is strong enough to compel people to leave poor ratings and unsub if you update too much.
I usually use song titles for my chapter names, since I can't into naming things good. As for my favorite example of musical references, definitely the ones in JJBA lol.
Got a few on my reading list! First there's the Changeling's Sister: "Rose's twin sister is kidnapped by a fairy and replaced by a doll. Rose is the only one who sees the difference, and the doll treats Rose horribly, until Rose one day has enough of it and goes searching for her real sister." C…
I use speech bubbles with zig-zagged edges to denote shouting and ones with dotted lines to denote whispering. For plotting scenes and panels in general, I look at techniques used by film makers and animators. Plus, color goes a long way in conveying the mood in the scene. To make this easier, I usu…
Worrying about worrying on this episode of Mnemosyne X Powerhouse: [image]
More bad news on this episode of MxP! [image]
Kinda hard to read for me, but I'm used to 4koma format which reads straight down instead of a zig-zag. Other people may face the same type of confusion, but otherwise it reads well. Also, heads up from someone who's tried the 4-8 uniform panel layout; It's going to be a tad limiting in terms of how…
And Chapter 5 really begins for MxP. It's just one panel, but it reveals a good bit. [image]
Another TWC Valentine's Day Contest entry, but I'm probably gonna upload it to Tap as well on the 14th! [image]
Last page of Ch 4 this week in Mnemosyne X Powerhouse! [image]
Everyone's suspicious in this weeks page of Mnemosyne X Powerhouse. [image]
Getting better at writing tbh. I have a bad habit of drawing scenes out longer than they need to be. I know it probably drives away a lot of readers. I just worry if I don't, events later in the story will seem deus ex-y
Usually, I thumbnail on paper with pencil. When I get something I like, I panel it in Clip Studio Paint. From there, I sketch it in Paint Tool Sai, then take it back into CSP for lining and coloring. Finally, I add any sound effects and save it for the web in Photoshop. I do all this on my decrepit …
Someone's a bit jumpy in the new episode of Mnemosyne X Powerhouse... [image]
** Mnemosyne X Powerhouse is a contemporary fantasy with a hint of sci-fi! ** [image] On a backdrop of fiendish beings erupting from Hell and divine interdimensional conflict, Lala's stuck babysitting. Cyrus, her charge, seems pretty normal, or at least normal enough that no celestial beings…
I would see how a page a week goes. Gives you more of a chance to build a buffer so if there's a period of time when you can't work on it for any reason, you don't have to rush to get a page done. It all depends on what rate you're comfortable with, though.
More YN, no surprise there. [image]
A little phasing between dimensions, this time on MxP! [image]
Multipage MxP update! I think the first page sums it up the best: [image]
