From (this comic) Little Jimmy Overalls is hosting a concert, and you're the star! It's been a bit sad for a while now, and I find that sharing music together helps make those sad days a little bit better. On July 8th 2020 at 10pm CST, share a drawing of your music - be it singing, dancing, pl…

Because sometimes life stinks, but that shouldn't prevent you from being happy. I want to remind people that as long as they try their hardest they can get through anything.

Working on a new page: [image]

[image] Software: Clip Studio Paint Hardware: Surface Book Gen 1 Time Elapsed: 47 min 19 sec ugh hands

@joannekwan I'm surprised you had lag on the surface pro or the cintiq - I've tried Clip Studio Paint on both and they were silky smooth. I find that the apple pencil is better for smudging and shading since you can use the side of the pencil tip, which is really cool. In my opinion, though, in…

I think my style is best characterized by the word squishy. [image] [image] I've been really liking recently how my stuff turns out when I use solid lines for the main character and kind of fuzzy, crayon-looking lines for the background - which funny enough was what reasonably close to what my f…

In my last episode I spun off one of my recent recurring characters into his own series, and in the process made a nostalgia-driven episode containing a bunch of reference to some of my older material/comics. It was super fun to draw, but also a bit bittersweet for some reason. Time flies when you…

I was drawing this in a coffee shop today, and a dude walked up to me and said, "I don't know what you're doing or what that is but I absolutely love it." [image] Made my entire week. Character is from this series.

It's a little too epic for the character, but I could see Little Jimmy Overalls being introduced with this overlaid with this Mainly because that mix of music brings me peace, and that's what drawing him does for me.

I've got a new one that needs some love: He's a little dude with big answers to tough questions. Would love to hear what questions you have for him!

I just released a new one today! And if you're not interested - just look at this face instead: [image] What a little goober

Haha what an amazing idea! Subscribed. Biggest feedback I'd have for you is text size and talk bubble consistency. Some of your text gets pretty tiny, which makes sense to fit on the page, but makes it hard to read (ex. cat on page 4). As for the talk bubbles, I'd be careful with the "tails" - s…

I am holding onto the wall thank you very much!

Thanks for the @mention, everyone! I'm on it!

The first emotes are in! Thanks @GalacticPotato and @Harmony-S-S for your collaboration! [image][image][image][image][image] @dawgofdawgness & @ChristodeBoyet, @Chroma & @Heliox14 - y'all need to step your game up

Just a great chilling song

I'd like to hop in the queue, please!

Viking, obviously. [image] Gwizslaug the Chosen is a chaotic-neutral type, mainly because he constantly forgets which side he's on. He's maxed out on strength and charisma, and intelligence took whatever remaining scraps were left. He's incredibly loyal, but sometimes fights for the wrong side "jus…

I appear, chain gun in one hand and a half-eaten rutabaga in the other. The blazing sun glints off of my solid diamond shoulder pads like a million tiny knives. "Who ordered the Cheese steak?" I toss the rutabaga behind me and load the chain gun. The rutabaga explodes, killing an innocent sand …

That, sometimes, my comic could make a difference. If I get one person that relates or feels emotion from what I drew, then it's all worth it. ...that't the hope, at least.

Hello Kyle! Your story is already grabbing my attention - you'll be trending in no time! I write these two bad boys on Tapas:

I've never played but I'd love to try! Is there a community D&D that I can jump into?

Game. Draw. Review. Sometimes simple, ish?

@dawgofdawgness Work with your Writer to design a custom emote! They should be square in size, and from the Discord site it is recommended "For optimal emoji resolution, you can upload them in sizes up to 128x128 pixels, but keep in mind that they'll be resized to 32x32. Your emoji list will sort cu…

The results are in! @dawgofdawgness | @ChristodeBoyet @Chroma | @Heliox14 @GalacticPotato | @Harmony-S-S Get creative, and have fun with those emotes! If you have questions send me a message either here on on the Discord. Submission due date is currently set at end of…

More like I didn't want to fill up the forum with images of the same character. I feel like it's a bit ridiculous to not provide links to Tapas in a Tapas forum - if you don't want to use the link for reference then don't.

Woah woah woah - I added the link because I thought that the photo I added didn't show the full look of the character - the link takes you to a specific page and is not a series link. Was trying to help with reference material.

My first comic I tried publishing was Finding Home, and it all started because of this one drawing here: [image] I drew him during class, and thought "hey that dude's pretty silly - I wonder what I could do with that?" It took about half a year of sketches before I was ready to start publishing. T…
