Hi, I'm an illustrator, after graduating ECV Bordeaux I went into the wilderness of freelance work and the animation industry.
In high school I used to do a lot of comics, and had an ongoing serie called Rêverie. I love to tell stories and share them !

I also love cheese, hiking and sleep wink

for my comic I guess i choose 1 main color for the scene and then i'ts mostly random and following my feelings if you want to see my different colorschemes : ep 1 to 3 are cold green ep 4 to 7~8 are blue ep 8 is blueish green and 9+ are yellow I'm not a very meticulous person laughing I mostly go with t…

seems interesting but I agree with the others ... how many pages would be needed every month ?

yes I think this kind of philosophy come with age, but I totally understand that you want the approval from your mom, she's such an important person, but it must not let you ruin your ambitions. I've been doing comics all my life (you don't want to see what I was doing at 10 laughing ) and I think of all…

hum it was quite a long time ago since I did the last one, I think it was still on tumblr ( I've kinda given up on tumblr to be on instagram this past year, I like Instagram better now ) anyway, I think the way to enter was to reblog my contest entry and be following me. Wich I think are kind of t…

I might not have a lot of readers compared to other, I just started but the people reading me are awesome, honestly, I love reading their comments and they too make me laugh ! My comic is rather mysterious so far and the thing I love most is reading the speculations of the readers ! It's sometimes…

hum I always thought giveaways were a good idea, I have done it in the past and I don't have as much as an audience as you, I have gave away old sketchbooks/artbook and it went well. I think people are always happy to get free stuffs and if they like you, your art. Maybe you can throw a more recent …

Hi ! here is mine for Radiant I'm actually giving away prints of this cover for my tippers ! [image]

by the hour i meant that you estimate yourself how many hours you take to do your commission and charge this, if you spend too much time on it sadly the overtime is for you, or you try to speculate a 20% margin of error that you put to your price. but charging the client for hour over the budget i…

I've been drawing since forever... and I actually drew so much in high school, making comics and all that my grades dropped ... I realized I couldn't breathe if I wasn't drawing so I went to art school ! lol

Exactly the same I counted, on average I do a page of Radiant in 12 and a half hour ( the longuest has been 14 hours and the shortest 9 hours = thumbnail + 2 pass of sketch + line+ color I made a timelapse of one panel that took me 2 hours to do ( line and color ) see here I hope it helps !

So I will react to this first : I have my own comic Radiant but I also get paid to do comic pages, in a totally different style than Radiant, and I get paid 150$ per page just the line, no color, someone else takes care of the colors. And Sempai wink you should not count in terms of panels, but in te…

HI guys ! Here is my tipping comic : https://tapastic.com/episode/653162 Offering rewards for the top tipper and the latest tipper ( so tiny tipper are also rewarded because each tip count ! ) thank you !

What about leaving a choice ? like " a signed print " or a page of the comic in a Pdf full quality or a thank you drawing as a jpg ? or something like that ? I understand that people might not want to share their address ... but I still want to make it special, and I don't have a patreon ...

it's rather good to hear because honestly for my comic too the begining is rather slow, but more than that I really take my time for al the comic ... Anyway I think it's always good to have well writen and interesting characters, if you build you story well, i think people won't mind it to be a bi…

I'm trying to think of something to thank my tippers too, do you mean sending paper/actual card ? I like the idea to do a special gift to the top tipper. I was thinking doing a gift to the top tipper and than thanks everyone by featuring them all in a special thank you episode each month. I like …

lol I had not even noticed poop

I am a bit of the lasso fangirl, I am using it a lot to color my comic RADIANT it is fast and easy to me. I also use textured brushes to have a light texture. 1/ So I do flat colors that I shade using the lasso tool to select sharp areas smile I made a video process here Coloring with the lasso tool

I'm 27 and counting lol

seems like it's coming from your network, it happened to me too but it was because my connection was shit ...

Here is how I go : First, I have ideas floating around, I have notebooks with ideas. When I decide to transform this idea into something I just write casually where I want to go, no pressure ( this step can take years ), I write the parts that inspire me the most in details, even do some concep…

Story time : Before I was 15 yo I had never drew a human character in my life, and at that age I discovered manga with titles likes chobits, love hina, naruto, dn angel ( to just talk about the first books I read ) and naturally my style got ver very inspired by this styles as I learned to do char…

I personally have problems with reading pages that are too print oriented. I always read on my phone and the panels get really small so I usually skip them. I'm very sorry about it but I am a big fan of real paper and online reading is kinda new to me. So when it gets too complicated to read I just …

I agree with @angelajal91 and @shazzbaa unless you have a very good valid reason other than " my art got better " you shouldn't redo your comic, the best is to finish. If you want to do better the next time then start a new series. You will always get better. As someone who has redone many pages o…

I'm so grateful to my parents that are with me 100% since I was born. I'm glad I found back my artistic voice very recently. I'm glad I have 2 working legs, 2 sets of hands and two even mildly functioning eyes. And I'm grateful to be living in France because I couldn't live without cheese.

It's never too late, I'm 27, I've done art school and have been a freelance illustrator for 3 years now. It's never NEVER too late, and being super popular helps but how many artists are that popular ? When you are not that popular there are other ways to find clients. Let me tell you you are you…

So I searched harder and found this https://les-auteurs-numeriques.com/bd/allcomics.php with a design that seems coming from the ends of the interenet ... France why ? Pay yourself a good WebDesigner .... plus the reading mode is very very weird ... argh my comic wouldn't even fit in this format. An…

I may get hit to say this but why try to please others ? Be selfish. What makes you happy about drawing ? What float your boat ? Honestly I know it isn't easy to find an audience, I dont have many followers on instagram or twitter or such but I have noticed at some point that I don't care ? I m…

We can definitely see the progress too ! the last page has very interesting colors ( your style is more defined too )! There is only one way to get good at color and it's try try try and color again and again. Well done !

oh dear my weakness ... I'll die here !
