"it's really windy rn" It really is.

If i'm not posting on my tapas page I'm using my Instagram for my comics and other work.

I'm glad you found your passion for art again. There was a point where I took a year long break from making comics, and that really resonates with me about your year. Having the time to reflect really helped me focus on why I love art and what I want to express. Looking at your comic, I see a wonder…

that's one epic rock sir.

I'm definitely down to do it! Thanks for the heads up,if it is during the week, I shall hide my art at work somehow lol.

I feel in the same boat, I practically learned from the ground up about comics. Turns out making strips or small zines did not prepare me in the slightest on what to expect. Only experience can I suppose. In any case, looks like you had your plate full this year  Here's to another productive year! …

I'm glad you didn't give up art! I need to challenge myself more and maybe do the 24 he comics like you, that sounds like a good time.

I'm glad your in a way better place, I hope your health continues to improve. It's very important to be in a good and relaxing environment to create art, so don't feel bad that life gets in the way, it happens. Take your time in returning your art, it's something to enjoy. Take care.

Woa! I've seen some of your work and wow, I'm loving the colors and passion in these pages. Really cool stuff. It's really cool to read everyone's year.

That awesome! Love seeing your growth with the pic, and reading about your creative journey. I'm in my 20's myself and still have much to learn. I completely understand that feeling of throwing yourself Into a project with no preperation. I mulled over ideas for a long time, and just needed to stick…

That's great, reaching a 100 subs is a great feat! Here's to growing our comic :champagne:

What have you learned about your creative process, in 2018? I'll provide my thoughts with my own project, but I do want to hear how everyone's experience has been this year, making comics. Weather it was your first year creating a series, or just something you learned, I want to hear it all. Iv'…

For now its scattered with my Inktober drawings, but for the most part it's doodles of my characters and mini strips about me doing silly things.

@STAFF Oh wow the app looks great! Tanks for creating this thread!

Just doing what you can to market yourself, is what I see.

Absolutely nothing wrong with your approach, you're giving your audience a real treat later on. That your characters are more than cute looks but can handle much more serious issues, and serve a greater purpose. Its a good move. Heck, one of my favorite anime Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica does similar …

The Strangers, the suspense building is so good and it's so well thought out.

I like to plan out at least a chapter in advance. I'm currently working chapter to chapter, connecting plots, motivations, and character building as it goes. I have the major arcs established but I found it easier for me to go based off the characters motivations to lead to the next arc and so on. G…

If I allowed myself to doubt and try to have the most perfect idea, I would never had started any of my comics. I don't think anyone is really ready to bare their soul with a story, entirely. There is always a gamble, whether there's feelings of inadequacy about skill or not knowing where the story …

Yeah! I have all my old stuff in storage somewhere, I should dig it out and post it sometime to show my progress lol.

Dear God, this question brings me back. I was in middle school at the time when my sisters and I started our first comic series, Justice Teens. It was inspired by our love of Teen Titans and superheros. Although it was pretty cringe worthy, it's impressive how dedicated and prolific we were, spannin…

I struggle a lot with my comic, pretty much every aspect I question. Being my first narrative that isn't just a slice of life, continuity, dialogue, and world building are what I am trying to strengthen. I really wanted to challenge myself, however, and create a full fledged comic to the best of my …

Ah I love your style man, Its a great story so far, from what I read, and I can tell there's a lot of love put in it. It's great to see.

I know I really want to do it this year, there was one year I was able to complete it fully and I want to believe I can do it again. Good luck to everyone out there!

I'm really happy that i'm hitting my biggest milestone with the creation of Wild Pack, my first ever original story. I've created a gag comics before about my life but what I really wanted was create my own story. I'm currently posting chapter 2 which is a big deal to me.

In the end, I'm happy and content with being passionate about my work, any other aspiration come true is the cherry on top.

I think for me, seeing in-depth discussions in the comments section, or people creating fanart would be amazing.

Great example. I love this channel, and is a good model for creating a persona and sharing good images for content.
