Portrait practice number 7
I´m trying to finish portrait practice and figure drawing until
lunch time, then I make one short theory lesson and switch
to traditional drawing

and I did a quick shading test because I´m not patient and
want to finish portraits

I was drawing the whole time but didn´t train, I´m back at the drawing training today.
I had a little accident at the airport, missed my flight and everything and that kind
of threw me off and I couldn´t focus on theory or practice.

I´m redoing the hair of test page right now. I´m trying to draw it more like
3d shaped sausages and this works better

Today´s studies. Took me way too long to do this, I did some figure sketching before,
and copied some figure drawing mannequins. I´m not sure if I will burn myself out
or will be super motivated when I pull this through

I´m doing 15 torso drawings from a book with pencil right now
+ one longer figure drawing session daily

I'm back to doing Marc Brunet's 30 day art challenge and i'm 8 days in so far

Marc Brunet´s 30 days art challenge is really good.
His Youtube channel is better than his courses

Oh, have you purchased some of his courses? I can't afford that so I stick to free resources

I regret it, the tutorials are really, really long and it´s hard not to fall asleep

[Lensing]

I´m drawing 15 mannequin figures from the Tenten book each day,
then 60 one minutes figure drawings.
There are still very essential things about figure drawing that feel
like I´m not getting them. Maybe I´m just being too german and want
things to be over correct and by the rules.

And then I´m doing longer sessions, I´m basically just drawing a lot
