yesterday i drew BellaTheCow's Oc Bella reimagined as a human

i made her bald and plus-sized cuz cows are pretty huge and don't look nearly as furry as they are. I also gave her a white patch of vitiligo on her chest to mimic the cows white belly, most of the patch isn't visible since she's wearing a high-collared shirt tho

The kids are 10 to 14, most of them love step by step tutorials.
Some of them draw faces like a little child would draw a face, usually
without ears, some of them are advanced.

I will know tomorrow
And I also learn a lot myself, teaching is one of the best ways
to learn imo

I have so much more work to do, but at least i got a drawing out

I found this good practice page for lines, spheres and form intersections.
The straight excercise is very good because you can just practice
that online and the outer lines get bigger when you miss the line to make
it easier for you and they also get thinner when you are getting better at
hitting the line. I think it can help people getting good at drawing digitally
and getting used to draw on a drawing tablet

I started to do form intersections today and realised that I´m not used to that practice.
Form intersections are when 2 objects intersect with each other and you have to decide
what´s on top. It´s a good practice for construction and it´s from the Michael Hampton figure
drawing course that I started yesterday.

The eye drawing worked well with the kids yesterday. They are all really good and learning
fast. I wish I had a comic drawing when I was at that age. I have one kid with a mental condition
and he is really hard to deal with, he finishes everything after 5 seconds and then distracts the
other kids. That´s the only thing that sucks in this course

Day 89, I´m really tired today so I only did warm up so far. Line practice, spheres and ovals
and I did some form intersection practice. I will maybe do some figure drawing later and
I have to prepare the next class which will be hair drawing

I did it again this morning, it´s the best line practice but it also
shows me that I need a different drawing tablet with a better texture
finally. I want to level up to the Cintiq

Is it possible you could give the kid an additional assignment like drawing ten more different kinds of eyes after he's done with the first assignment so he can stay entertained and not be a distraction?

I drew my little brother's character Max as a toddler

I tried but it made it worse, the more he is in the center of attention or gets
a special treatment the worse it gets. The only tactic which kind of worked so far is ignoring him.

Today is the one year anniversary of my prize winning short story so I drew the MC

I made this value thingy and tried to eyeball the value of the reference.
It was surprinsgly easy. I´m getting closer to learn how to shade properly

I have one big goal for the next months and that is to become good at shading.
I´m not sure how because it is overwhelmingly complex
