100 days of art

Sketch and linework + color.
I made a new plan for a 100 day portrait plan and I will draw
at least one realistic portrait each day. The picture that I attached
is a just for fun cartoon sketch which I made with the realistic sketch

I ordered a shading book and I included the shading process in the 100 day
portrait plan. I´ll start the shading part on day 25 after I repeated the planes
of the head and after I learned about line weight which is another thing I´m not
good at. I know what line weight is and I apply it but without having a clue
about it

Today I added shadows to yesterday's art. But I have more drawings to do lol

Um, I drew a BellatheCow's duck OC as a human lol

Another character design sheet. My Dominicana, but I think her mother was probably Haitian. I've yet to decide

Day 93,
I got the kid in the drawing course under control now, more or less.
I told him that I will have to call his parents and that they will have to
pick him up and after that it got a little bit better. I´m still pretty much
spending 80% of the time on dealing with one kid instead of teaching.

It´s snowing in Germany!

And I´m working on portraits. This is how far I am right now. I will make a carricature
of that guy now for fun and then continue with drawing the planes of the head
in the afternoon. I´m happy how it turned out so far, the proportions are more or
less accurate

Day 94, this is only the traced planes of the shape but this took me a long time
because I never understood how to place the cheekbone planes. I slowly understand
how it works but the whole cheekbone area is really hard to draw

Day 95
I´m still doing the portrait stuff, I have a new thing where I first draw a carricature
of the portrait before diving into the complicated measuring and face analyzing.

I know the burnout problem well, it sometimes feels like going from one creative
burnout to the next and always trying to recover + avoid the next burnout.

Here is the carricature portrait I just did and I think it turned out surprisingly
good considering that I did it super rushed

Day 96, I´m doing some figure drawing today.
I don´t know how far I´m getting with this one because
I had to finish the course material for the and kids and
I want to record some demos for songs and I have rehearsal
later where we will also record. When I´m finished with the 100
days of art I will challenge myself to do 100 portraits and
100 figure drawings and I will take notes what to work on
and get criitiques from teachers

Day 97, I´m preparing the final class for the drawing course. Next lesson will be noses and mouths,
then we´ll do ears, beards and hats and we will be drawing Santa Claus in the final class.
I thought it would be nice to create something the kids can give to their parents when
the course is over

Day 98, I´m teaching noses and lips today in the drawing course.
I hope the kids will be interested, it´s harder to make it exciting than
for example eyes and hair. Everyone is usually excited about eyes.

I made this fun excercise with some expressions and before that we
learn some step by step way to draw noses and lips

The other day 98 drawing is a sketch that I did for someone to explain
them how to make a quick sketch to arrange characters and the way I quickly
draw their torsos with that thingy which looks like a pizza slice

I´m generally not very motivated right now, but this will come back with a new
training plan
