Recently I've been feeling like my portrait skills are regressing, so I've decided to try the 100 Portraits Challenge. And it's always more fun and motivating to do it with other people, so here we go :smiley:

What is a 100 Portraits Challenge?
- it's a challenge that was started with this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0A_kQsxeeTE2
- there's a pinterest board with 100 various head photos to be drawn;
- in the original challenge, you had 10 days to draw all 100, but we're skipping this rule here! (though you can keep it for yourself if you want to);
- the goal is to just finish all the drawings, with no deadline or set amount of drawings you have to do each day (because let's face it, most of us already have school or a fulltime job and ongoing webcomics to manage, so squeezing in time for 10 more drawings might make things worse instead of helping);

Feel free to join and post your wips and completed portraits here! :smiley:
I'm going to stick to the original challenge pinteres board, but you don't have to do that for your 100 portraits- use any refs you want to!

Good idea, I decided to make it in a sketchy way

@Lensing
Ohh love how they turned out! Great work!

And I've just finished mine:

to be honest I'm not too happy with how it turned out, but well, I'll get better with practice :smiley:

I tried that one too, I will continue tomorrow. I think it´s realistic to get them done until end of the month, I can´t do 100 in 10 days

Thank you! :slight_smile: and I really like your version!
Yeah, 100 in 10 days doesn't really sound realistic

Number 4, this was tough because of the hair and because it was hard to locat the chin
but on the other hand it was really easy to locate the eyeballs

@Lensing
I love this sketch, it somehow feels so warm!

And here's mine:

I made it way smaller than the first one, and it made it much easier to draw. I guess I'm just used to having smaller drawing area :thinking:

Here's my #3 and #4 :smiley: the 4th one was the hardest for me so far! So many details, and I couldn't get the proportions quite right. But it was a nice challenge to try c:

After a short break, I'm back to the challenge c: 5/100
