25 subs in less than 5 days - Share your experience!

My BL novel Soul Shard Captor has now been up on Tapas for less than 5 days and has reached 25 subscribers. Is that good or not? How long does it usually take on Tapas to reach that number?
How does the growth go from there assuming that I don't get featured/promoted anywhere?
Can I expect the daily subs to remain the same as now, or drop, or increase?

Does the visibility significantly drop with the chapter release rate? I'm concerned that the only reason why I managed to reach this number this "quickly" is because I've been uploading a bunch of chapters at once over these days. Will the number take a dive now that I have finished uploading them and return to my regular release schedule?

Also, where does one go from here? How long does one have to be on the platform for the Tapas team to consider you for promotion?

I don't know the answers to most of your questions but I know these:

My novel reached 25 subscribers in 8-9 days.

Less than 5 days is pretty good, I think.

The sub count should increase over time, especially considering yours is a BL novel.

25 subs took me 3 months;...
But given, I updates only once a week at that time.
(This is a romance novel though)

25 subs took me longer than 3 months haha, so it's very impressive! Yes, the amount of subs you gain will become less when you upload less, but having a good start really helps with engagement!

Promotion in what way??
I took a little bit more than a month to get 84 subscribers...I noticed that there were times it plateaued...I think the longest it took was for me to cross that initial 25...Plus people randomly unsubscribe if things are not to their liking or for whatever reason...

You are fine. You need 100 subs to get your 1 cent per 100 views and 250 subs to be tipped. Promotion is something at 1K subs plus level.

What will drag you down are the subs who do not read/interact with the story.

Updating more than 1x a day is counterproductive, because extra chapters do not count toward the fresh/trending/popular.

Congratulations! That sounds pretty good! My count is similar to yours - now at 31 watchers for "Sam in New York" and I've only started posting the series on the 28th.

I managed to get >25 in five days. My growth has been fairly consistent and I upload almost daily. I'm currently at 157 subscribers and I will have been on Tapas for a month on the 11th. I haven't found my visibility decreasing as more chapters have released. I have not been featured or promoted by the Tapas site, except for reaching the trending and popular charts.

That does happen
But it's only interacting with the adds that'll render money for the author
so you can get 500 views in a day and 0ct or just 20 views and 10cts

it works like google adds do
which means only when clicked on or interacted with, the author will get something
and that's the reason why the stats really differ per person

Never got that many that fast. I made 16 in the month of August which was great though 1 more and I hit 50 sub mark!

Congrats! I thought I was doing well to get 48 subs this month! Hope you're enjoying your success so far.

As for visibility and that lot. Basically from what I've gathered, the more you upload the more your novel gets seen and therefore, potentially, the more you grow.

As for Tapas and how they handle promotion, well, it's kind of unknown or at least not strictly explained. Getting noticed can defo be partly luck! Good luck, hope your growth continues.
