A bit of help in understanding these perspective tutorials

And maybe understanding perspective a bit better in general? I've practiced this a few times (in fact I'm currently practicing it now. Though the vanishing points are a bit too close now that I look at it. You're not supposed to do that in perspective right?)

I hope this isn't getting too annoying. It feels like I've been asking too many questions.

This one I think I need to review it a few times.

This one I find a bit difficult to understand. Probably because I have a hard time seeing things that way.

I guess I'm asking for a better explanation? Other perspective tutorials would be helpful too.

so basically it's talking about how our eyes perceive space isn't "straight" like classical perspective. Because our eyes are round, what seems straight is actually somewhat distorted.
Check out how 4, 5 and 6 point perspective looks like. Basically, that's closer to how our eyes perceives things minus the massive field of view.

Does that make sense?

But does this mean that I should probably study 4, 5, and 6 point perspective?

Most people won't learn past 3 point, so it's not ultra necessary but I think there's no harm in learning right?
I did have to do a presentation on it before, so you can check out the slides I made for it. There is a word document at the end with more details, but it doesn't really talk much about the distortion our eyes see like the tutorial posted above.
Anyways, feel free to use if it it's useful to you.

Yeah I guess I could learn past 3 point at some point. But I need to understand 2 and 3 point before I do. 1 point seems a bit straightforward. Shouldn't be too hard.

.I'd much prefer video tutorials. I'd stick to 1, 2 and 3 point perspective for now. Take it slow and don't overwhelm yourself.

Watch the first two minutes of this video on two-point. The rest is just a sped-up for details.

Me personally, I find it easier to go to 2 point and then down to 1 point. (I'm just weird like that). Relax, don't be hard on yourself and have fun. Drawing is simplistic, it just gives the illusion of complexity. Don't fall for its tricks! haha.
