A forgotten comic from my childhood

I'm trying to find a comic I once read as a child. I'm sure the publication of it is post-2000s. I remember that it was not from the Marvel or DC universes, as all the characters were unique to that comic universe. The one scene I remember well (and this is where you decipher my not very helpful clue) is this:
The teenage hero group (which the comic is about i guess?) is doing a kind of press thing (Questions from news outlets and stuff, people trying to take pictures.) and one of our teenage heroes has the power of manipulating and creating light, so she gives every member of the hero team a mask made of light, making any photo taken of them blurry, thus protecting their identities.

That is the one thing I remember about this comic, I know it is not much to go on but I would be grateful if by some miracle anyone can tell me what it is. Thank you in advance.

It doesn't sound immediately familiar....

So the characters were a teenage hero group, but didn't wear costumes? Sounds similar to Runaways, based on the time period, but none of the characters had that power and I don't recall a scene like that, plus while Runaways was largely self-contained, it did sometimes have Marvel characters in there.

It's probably not Young Avengers, Teen Titans, Ultimate X-men or Young Justice, because they all generally wear costumes and are very much part of their universes, frequently interacting with mainstream heroes...

What was the art style like? Was it drawn in an American comics sort of style? Or more indie looking or manga?

Was it a print comic or a webcomic? I'm assuming print based on the period and you being a kid at the time.
Also, what country was published in? That's often really key, we've had a mystery solved in the past where it turned out it was a comic only published in Eastern Europe

The heroes did have costumes, but none of them had stuff that covered their faces. I believe the reason our light-powers hero made the photo blurring light masks were not only because of the press, but also because whoever the villain or villanous group was/were, they were also looking out for any photos of them with their faces visible. I live in Turkey and remember the comic(a physical copy) being in english, so it should be a worldwide release? The artstyle looked like late 2000s dc or marvel, but not too realistic like final crisis, more stylized like the new 52. I will try to post answers as long as people have questions. I think that could be Runaways? I know there's this one chick with the ability to bend light.

New memory! I also remember a training scene where the light-powers girl makes multiple illusions of herself (like naruto clones) and another hero from the team tries to find the real one for practice.
