A huge spike of new subscribers

I don't know what the heck happened but my webcomic suddenly got a huge amount of subscribers. I think I had around 30(?) but out of the blue it jumped to 150 subscribers, currently, I've 186. I'm not complaining but I wanna know why this happened lol.

Maybe it was show up on the front page.

I don't know how, but sometimes series are show in the front page or hot or whatever. I know that also happens in webtoons, but never to one of my series, so i can't figure what triggers that.

Ooooh I saw it. Thanks! I checked the web version and couldn't find my webcomic being featured anywhere should've thought about the app. lol

whoa, didn't know the 'noteworthy' sections on the app vs desktop could be different.

I too saw a consistent flow of subscribers to my series last week. Seemed to go on daily for about five days.
Kind of nice to see.

AHH don’t undersell yourself!! It ain’t all luck! Editors actually do scour canvas for new stuff and they work hard to find and promote the things they think could succeed on the platform so it’s not totally random they’d read your work (since they read everything). It’s their job to find you!!

Your skill and effort put you in the position to be picked out of the lineup!! Congrats! You’re doing something right and I wish you all the success

edit: ahhh I just started reading your comic and realized I was really referring to WEBTOON not tapas so I can only speak for WT but u know what I’m sure Tapas has people scouring the site too otherwise they’d be dumb.
