I've been racking my brain trying to discern the difference between Studio Tapas and Premium series. So I figured I just come right out and ask. Besides I think it would be kinda nice to see if we can pool our knowledge together and ask a few questions as a community. Knowledge is power you know.

I'll start with what I know and that is recently Tapas launched Studio Tapas. At first glance, at least to me this doesn't really look all that different from premium hence my confusion. Is Studio Tapas the new premium? Is it something else entirely? Are the criteria similar? Higher?
Also something I've been asking myself is where does Studio Tapas fit in with me as a creator on Tapas. So far I've been here six months. I've had a few ups and a lot of downs and to be honest for a while I had planned on leaving this month. The reason that changed was thanks to my little group of dedicated subs coming in with the likes and comments. They just happened to come in at the right time. Kinda of ironic.
I'm sorry for getting a little off topic but if you bare with me a little longer there is a point here. The reason I wanted to leave had to do with getting rejected when I pitched for premium. Mainly it was the explanation as to why. Which to sum it is based on the first few chapters the story direction wasn't clear.
I'm not going to belabor the point and argue whether or not there are stories with similar story flow that seem to be doing fine or amazing (actually) .
The actually point had to do with me not feeling like there was a place for me here at Tapas. If you look at the premium series you can see how they fit with the site. They're different but they're also similar, I don't wanna ramble so it's kinda hard to really explain. The main point is maybe a month or so ago I saw a post regarding Tapas making efforts to support its creators in the sense that there's a reason for the way Tapas does things. A game plan. But the thing is when you market to a specific audience you bring in that audience who looks to read more of the same. And that's perfectly fine. Some people in that audience might only read a specific genre, some might read a variety of stories. Essentially the more people who have their eyes on Tapas the more readers all around.
Coming back to what I was saying about there being a place for me at Tapas. There are so many stories that are weird, unique, strange, and happen to be on the fringes of Tapas. And if Tapas never champions stories like that then the audience for those won't come and thus the stories won't grow. And that's why I wonder if the criteria for Studio Tapas is different because at the end of the day if we're not asking what are you looking for? What is it that you think people want to see? Then won't we just get the same result?
Also I feel like I should point this out this is not a dig at Tapas. Or at popular genres or anything like that. I'm just curious about how Tapas is going to change and evolve in the future.
Whether there's a place for me or not remains to be seen. While I'm here I do wanna ask some questions. And I hope everyone else has some too. We're all apart of this community. And even though I don't chat on the forums a whole lot, us being a community and Tapas as a whole it matter to me.
Sorry for getting kinda of topic there. Here's some questions.
How is Studios Tapas different from Premium?
Will Studio Tapas branch out and find more obscure creators and originals?
What can the Tapas community do to better communicate their desires when it comes to the stories they'd like to see?
In a broad sense how will Tapas help creators to reach their goals?
I wanna add that one step toward achieving a goal is defining it. With a variety of different people in this community their goals will span the horizon. How is Tapas as a whole preparing to meet that challenge?
*(This one is about Ink) I'm an android user so I have the benefit of being able to do a wider range of ink offers than a Iphone user. Are there any plans to sort of expand the offers available for Iphone users, I know that this might be an apple thing and not really a Tapas thing I just thought I should ask since more ink offers benefits Tapas, creators, and the readers.
Let me know what you guys think about Studio Tapas. Ask any questions you have here. And let's see if we can figure out some answers.
Also I just wanna say thank you to everyone on the forums for being here.
