I watched the movies once or twice as a kid, but not enough to really remember them.
There's one I have a vague memory of, but I can't quite place what it was.
I played with Barbies all the time though! I had some older ones that were my mom's, and a ton of my own. And the accessories...
Oh my gosh, the accessories! I had so many dishes and utensils, I used to spend half my time playing just putting them all in the cupboard of my Barbie Dreamhouse. I used to organize my Barbie fridge, putting all the soda cans on the shelves, putting the fruit in one drawer, the veggies in the other...
I had Shave Me Ken. Does anyone else remember Shave Me Ken? He was a Ken doll who, if his face was wet with warm water, would have a "beard" appear. He came with a little razor that had a sponge on it, and you would dip it in cold water and "shave" him, and the cold water would make the beard disappear. Because what little girl doesn't love the process of shaving grown men?
I also had a potty training Kelly that came with a little toilet, and real, miniature toilet paper. It was weird, and I loved it.
EDIT: Oh my gosh, I just remembered that I had this computer game, Barbie Detective or something. Barbie had to solve a mystery at a... a carnival? Involving a magician, I think. It was so much fun, but I am absolutely horrible as puzzles and patterns, so I sucked at the game. I still loved it though, and played it constantly.
