Are you not familiar with cosmologist Sean M. Carroll rebuke of all forms of simulation hypothesis by pointing out the fundamental contradiction ? That if an advanced civilization is capable of performing these simulations, then most likely it will conduct many simulations, this implies that we would most likely be at the lowest level of said simulation... at this level one can still doubt the existence/possiblity of a civilization to perform said simulation... which then contradicts the intial assumption that a civilizations can most likely create these simulations...simple enough, right?
