Jamisha is a freshman college student and still hasn't gotten over the loss of her mother. She encounters a mysterious man that gives her a vague and ominous message and a razor sharp sun dial, advising her to only use it when is in life threatening danger. After she struggles for life with her drunk and crazed father, she uses the sun dial, and the same mysterious man appears to her rescue. However, there is a catch to this "Deus X-Machina" as Jamisha's time in the Earthly realm was coming to and end. The mysterious man tells her that she will be born anew, and her story has yet to begin, and as she fades, he whispers the name "Minerva.."
This is the set up to the set installment of a trilogy that I'm writing called "Mystics: The Original PROTOTYPE Trilogy"
