I always love a good sci-fi; that said, I can't say if I like science- or high-fantasy stuff more...
Side note: reading the title Heron reminds me of the Brotherband Chronicles by John Flanagan; it's a series about some Viking boys who undergo a trial to become warriors, led by a weaker but very intelligent youth named Hal, who calls his crew The Herons, after his ship The Heron and its sail designed to look like a Heron's wing.

I haven't touched the series since high school, but it's fun how seeing your title brings memories like that flooding back!

New chapters every Monday, tuesday & thursday at 4 PM EST

Hey, your education is paramount; I had to take a few hiatuses while writing my fanfiction novel last year so I could focus on classes. Nothing wrong with that, just try your best to keep up the writing, a hundred words or so a day, even when you're busy. Good luck!

Good action to me is always accentuated when it's given purpose and reason, or is performed by people the audience cares about; having something like a nonstop tournament arc or going from battle to battle would leave no room to give the audience time to attach to the characters or world, so I think it's best to take time to get to the action! Good luck with your story.

Ohhh, a tale of Wukong? Interesting... Did you get much more attention after the release of Black Myth: Wukong recently? It'd be cool to see the popularity of the game drive attention to some similar stories that are already out there!

If you are a newbie to the Elite Action-Fantasy genre from which many Legendary works like Solo Levelling comes out, the for everyone such, I invite to read my work, Sapta Astra I

You can't just drop a link to your story and not advertise it like that; you've got full songs you write for your bard, that's awesome! All the more so when you help the readers by telling us what part is which verse or the chorus, it's great! Keep it up.

Nineteen-year-old Alexander Jacobs is a witch with an incredible destiny – the thing is, he’s as average as they come and has never shown any magical prowess. When he finds himself unexpectedly in the fantastical world of Ellond, however, he discovers that not only can he access newfound magic, but he’s a prophesied savior sent to rescue this world.

As if that wasn’t terrifying enough, Alexander realizes his growing feelings for the elven prince, Owen Leinster. Their natural connection is the best relationship Alexander has ever had – but are they just friends, or something more? As he struggles with his sexuality, he must also learn to protect himself against the growing dangers of those who want him dead.

Can Alexander save the magical world of Ellond… or will he lose everything, including his own life, in his attempts to return home?

Sorry I missed this for so long; it sounds pretty interesting! Classic capitalism proving to be the enemy of humanity in the future, as always. Reminds me of the overarching theme of the Alien movies, which I only just started watching this summer because of the new release. The Muther 9000 program or whatever controlling the Androids, prioritizing the company's directive over the safety of anyone and the countless casualties...

Really hope James and Caleb manage to figure something out by the end.
