I think it was less about lesbian sex being treated as not sex and most likely the waist up thing. I never show any sort of penetration be it fingers or strap ons etc. I think thats where the line is drawn as thats where it tends to be for actual porn as well. Unfortunately girls nipples still get policed super heavily. Like i said before i had to remove all the nipples from my comic. I even removed the ones that werent in a sexual context to be safe.

You could always make the penetration or below waist pages a patreon exclusive thing. That would certainly draw people to support you! I know my NSFW tier is my most lucrative tier. People are most willing to pay for horny content.

Oh yeah that's already what I do but I got declined until I removed the pages entirely and replaced them with a "this episode cannot be read on webtoon, feel free to read them on tapas" type of note lol.

Basically i keep censored pages on tapas, webtoon only gets pages that I can be sure are safe to post, and patreon gets uncensored.

makes sense i just got drumroll .15 cents because my ad rev kicked in late in the day september 30th. Over the summer i was getting over or just under 1 mil views per month but september was slow im assuming from back to school and also me updating less being in the middle of a move.

So I have a discord server for my comic, and a handful of my readers confirmed that they're not getting notifications for my comic.... I think that explains a lot of the low Page views (like not reaching anywhere close to my sub count)

That's pretty upsetting to hear, it's like I was set up to fail from the get go this month. I even planned multiple extra bonus updates and lots of cross promo to help and I won't even come close to qualifying for the ad credit which I so easily hit in the past... At least now I know, so I won't bother adding extra content next month... BIG SIGH

They do not care about number of published episodes. They care about sub count and monthly US page views.

basically you must have at least 1000 subscriber and have a US monthly PV of 40,000. Until you get this minimum requirement you can't apply. For example if you manage to have that this month of October , then next month in November it will show your stats of October on your ad sharing tab and there will be a button next to your serie title that says "apply" meaning you qualify for applying. Then you wait for them to approve you. But if you do a webtoon and never reach the minimum requirements for months and years then you can never qualify and cannot earn anything for that long.

They haven't given a list of qualifiers up till now. Btw are your subs and views are dropping? Because mine loses 500 - 1000 subs per month and the views was halved within this past month T_T

my subs still grow each update, but the growth is less. Like I used to get more like 50-80 subs an update now more like 20ish(30 if lucky) unless I do cross promos then I get more.

My pageviews are just UGH I've been posting(whining lol) about it a lot in here, my readers are telling me they don't get notifications, so I think that's a big part of it but who knows. I sent an email to webtoon about it but never heard back. I've been posting a bunch of bonus this month(so I'll have double the updates) and I'm still not sure I'll qualify for the 40k PV min for credit... where it used to be easy to do with 4-5 updates. Sounds like a lot of people have dropped, so yeah atleast it's not just me...

At least yours are still growing haha. I've used to grow a hundred or two every update twice a month before the ad revenue and within that twice update. I roughly made a 150 - 200k monthly views. But now I've been updating 4 - 5 times a month and i'll only get 60k monthly views hahaha

i have so many views this month especially the last few days, ive had like 80k daily, as far as i can see im not being prompted somewhere new, its so weird..
and i still haven't been accepted for the ad program..

it makes me kinda nervous when i have a sudden increases or decrease in views and new subs on WT when there is no way of telling why..
