I didn't intend to enliven the whole discussion again, my apologies.
It's just so awkward when people claim that Webtoons is now unfair. Webtoons never was fair when it came to creators. It's a business and it always operated as such. You either have the skill and fit into their scheme or you didn't. That's how the world works anyway, right? (not saying you can't grow on their platform without any promotional help, but it's a lot more difficult, imo)
I just think it got a bit fairere since now even smaller creator can profit from their platform. Personally speaking I feel a lot more equal now. That's just how I see it.
Doesn't mean I approve everything that's going on atm and I understand the hard feelings of folks with NSFW content who're fearing to lose income. I'm not disagreeing with you guys on that and as I said earlier, I think they could've come up with a better solution for those creators...
Who knows, if they see their web-traffic shrink, perhaps they're rethinking how they handle mature content in the ad-program...
Once again, sorry for bringing that whole favoritism-theory back up again, it didn't belong here to start with...I just wanted to clarify what I meant in my earlier post :<
@onichan
