Okay before we start just a little trivia. I asked at the beginning "Why y'all make "I hit ***subs" threads". And after I got my answer it became s**t- posting after that. So just post stuff here you find funny.

NOTE: Keep in mind to be at least friendly here around.
SIDE NOTE: This threads original title until the lovely @KRWright changed it .

It's not the same to comment on the threads you mentioned. And I think we can forgive a few threads made for celebration.

I mean, yeah, it's understandable. But I get this feeling it might get out of hand.
Idk, maybe it's just me.¯_(ツ)_/¯

I think people are allowed to celebrate with their fans! A lot of users take months to hit their goals, so I don't see the harm in them making a thread to announce that thing that they are really proud of. Comments can get easily drowned in general chat threads, so I understand why people would like to make their own thread. Besides, it's not like you are forced to respond to them or interact with them in some way.

Look, it's a big thing for someone to hit a sub milestone! I made a thread to celebrate my first milestone, but that was before the gloating thread existed or I knew about the watercooler.

And that's exactly it. A lot of threads get made here every day, and cause of that there are some people who don't know the watercooler or the gloating thread exist.

Sorry to derail, just a bit of helpful advice:
If you put characters between these two arrows:
<>
The characters are invisible but still count towards the limit.

Part being happy and wanting to celebrate personal milestones, especially if you get some influx of subs. Part to try and say "Hey! I hit this milestone! Help me hit the next?" It's kind of the same as the "Let's help each other" promo threads, just with a more positive vibe than shameless. I prefer these to just ones that say shameless promo etc

Like I said, I don't have anything against it if someone likes to celebrate a personal goal. It's just a bit weird for me seeing those threads pop up more often. Maybe I'm only one in this case. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

@wocalichofficial It's just my opinion on this, but if let's say someone makes a thread for 25, 30, 50, etc. Subs, then it is kind of out of hand. But like I said, it could be only me.

If it gets "out of hand" then moderators will take care of it

Well, milestones tend to be on a specific timeline. For example:
10, 50, 100, 1,000 and so on. Those milestones are pretty far apart.
I'd hardly say that it could get "out of hand".

@PapaDom, I opened my "I HIT 200 SUBS" to celebrate my consumption of 200 delicious elongated sammiches this year.

Why you hating?

Yeah, but maybe cause of the sub4sub threads back then left me suspicious.
And I hate repeating myself, but it could only be me.¯_(ツ)_/¯

Papa let's make a thread when you reach your milestone! It will be fun :grinning:
I will bring drinks, a Ouija board and a clown.

I was down until you said "Ouija Board".
I was ready for a crusade when you said "Clown".
