Alternatives To Croppy?

I've been using Croppy for years to reformat my webtoon line pages for Tapas. But today, when I tried to use it, croppy wouldn't give me a download for reformated pages. I've tried it for multiple files to check that it wasn't just that one file it was having issues with. Every time I clicked "Tapas" it wouldn't do anything, but it would work if I clicked "webtoon".

Every time I look up tutorials for how to reformat a page for Tapas, they all say "Use Croppy" and they're all from 2/+ years ago. Does anyone have any tips for how to resize my webtoon pages for tapas?

Currently I'm stuck manually resizing them. I was hoping for something more efficient.

Tapas actually auto-chops your pages into multiple files if they're too long now. Have you tried just dropping them in and seeing how that looks?

What you can do is when you're finished making your art in your drawing program:

• Save the OG so you don't lose it
• Resize your image resolution to 940 width, leave the height to be resized automatically
• Save it in JPEG in another folder
• Submit it to Tapas, the platform itself has an auto-slice feature

Another method if you use Clip Studio Paint:

• Go to "File" -> "Export webtoon"
• Select the format you want be it PNG or JPEG (with JPEG you can reduce quality to 90%-80% so it can load faster for readers once published, also what matters is that it looks good on mobile devices more than pc)
• Click on "Select width" and type 940 and on "Divide vertically" half the Canvas's resized size. Again, Tapas auto-slice the long canvas, so no worry about it

Another solution:

• Use Croppy for Webtoon, there is no issue at all about using Webtoon format on Tapas, the files load normally

Maybe try deleting your history and trying Croppy again from there?
