Am I too similar to theodd1sout?

So today, I was thinking about my style, i got inspiration from the odd1sout and domics, but i think people might think
i'm trying to copy theodd1sout, which i'm not. I'm tryna go for like a modern Charlie Brown feeling but with my own style.
What do you think?

Plenty of people draw in that really simplified style, so I don't think anyone will accuse you of copying. A lot of gag comics have that vibe.

I'm gonna say it's too similar since your colors are the exact same palette as his characters. I'd give it pass if you'd at the very least shaded it with a color other than light blue

If you're concerned about being a copy, perhaps some improving is needed. It isn't bad to take inspiration from another persons work so long as you're not purposely stealing it. There's a lot of people who flat out use the style of simplistic character designs even before James started odd1sout. Hell I started putting my comics online because I was inspired by Domics myself. I will say this, in order to stand out you probably should try to make your work something that is different from anyone else that uses that same style. I read the odd1sout because I can tell the creator loves what he's doing and he is very clever with his comics. It's honestly up to you how you want to stand out and not have to feel compared to the odd1sout, domics, or jaidenanimations.

Changing styles is not a you suck critique by the way. If you look at odd1sout first and original comic and look at his stuff today there is an obvious change in his work, so even he does it too. An advise that the odd1sout suggested that I also do when I feel that I'm comparing my work to others is to look at another's creators first comic page/strip and compare it to their newest to observe that change happens naturally.
