To increase your chances of finding an artist, I'd suggest you give people an idea as to what kind of story you plan on creating and what kind of art style you are looking for. Perhaps even leave some links to samples of your "amazing writing."

All the same, it's probably a good idea to at least pitch a summary of the story you want to write, and give people an estimate of how long you think it's going to be. Is this a short oneshot project, or an ongoing epic? Is it scifi or romance or drama? Etc.
