Lindsay Ellis is pretty cool and I was scrubbing through her twitter feed when I saw this. An interesting thread about how our standards keep changing and about how their might not be any way to eliminate negative feelings but that we shouldn't ignore them.

I have severe imposer syndrome.
And regardless of the success I have, I continue to hold myself back for fear of failure and that I'm not good enough.

Yeah, i thought this was when someone steals your account and pretends to be you.

All these amazing artist have previously discussed having imposer syndrome.

It's not all that uncommon surprisingly.

Personally, I don't think I could have imposter syndrome. Call it narcissism or whatever you like, but for the longest time I've subtly believed that I AM a genius and it's only a matter of time until the rest of the world wises up to that fact. ^^;
And it's been a long, uphill battle...when this mountain finally starts to plateau, there's no way I could think I don't deserve it. After all the blood, sweat and tears I've shed? After all the years of watching people effortlessly pass me by?? You bet your ass I deserve every bit of success I can get.
