I think the smallest I've seen, in terms of those small monthly issues is 16 pages. (there's more pages with ads on them) but 16 on it's own also fits the 4x print format where one sheet of paper is four pages.

For me, drawing doesn't take that long. But COLORING and formatting takes FOREVER UGH. It was taking me a full month, non stop, to complete an issue.

My mind does want to work on my logos and animation/art and stuff but my body is all BLEH and I just want to lay down like a lump. I can't deal with sitting at my desk for too long.

I think the main problem is that there is no OVERLAP. It's not like one thing ends while something else it's in it's middle. EVERYTHING is ending at the same time and the replacement isn't here yet. It's the gap in between we don't like, and we're just not used to it being there.
