1. In the End, by Black Veil Brides (not the Linkin Park one lmao)
2. Definitely a movie!
3. Probably people ages 18-25, since the main characters are in that age range.
4. I have 5 main characters & I think I'd get along with 3 of them lol. The other 2 are the "smart, rich kid" types & I just wouldn't mesh well with them lol.
5. Yup. I wouldn't be super thrilled lol, but 500k would change my life!

Ooh fun thread!

1. New Worlds by Charlotte Hatherley
2. TV show, probably a Netflix Original type thing. I could see a Scott Pilgrim-esque condensed movie working, but like Scott Pilgrim it'd need to lose a lot of nuance.
3. My audience are largely in their twenties and thirties. I'd be surprised if that changed.
4. Maybe not since they're mostly around 24 and wouldn't be hanging out with somebody in their thirties, but we'd maybe play D&D together or something?
5. 500k isn't much (especially in USD) so I'd need to see the contract and how far the rights extended. For such a small payoff though their rights would need to be very limited. I'd be tempted to tell them to piss off and come back with 6 figures or give me a seat on the production team.

A TV show would definitely be amazing to see!!! There's so much to cover that I think a movie would be too short.

I think people 16-24 would enjoy it the most... but I'm not sure!

I don't think so. They're either too young, too old, or not the type of people I would be friends with! It's kind of canon that I'm in the series as the artist interviewing all these characters to tell their story, so I don't think I could blend that type of work with friendships.

On its own, that sounds like a lot of money, but for a Hollywood deal, it doesn't really sound like much so I think I would have to pass. I would hate to see them ruin my baby

Ooooh this is interesting!
1) These Days- Rudimental (Though this would suit the screenplays better than the comic itself)
2) I'm writing my own episodic screenplays based off of the comic so definitely some kind of Netflix deal. (Sucks that Tapas doesn't support screenplays )
3) Probably the same kind of people who like 'Tuca & Bertie', early 'Simpsons' and 'Daria'
4) While so far the comic has mostly focued on the main duo, there are five main characters in their 30's aside from one who is in his late 50s/early 60s, but I think I would get on with all of them pretty well.
5) If I could stay on as a main creative/story consultant yes, if it means giving up the rights completely, no.

Absolutely not. I've put a lot of work into this world and these characters. Hollywood can keep their f#cking money, they are not ruining my carefully crafted handiwork.

4. Hell no. Their occupations alone make it impossible. If they didn't do what they did, I'd probably get along with all of them except for one who can be a real grump.

5. No. I'd probably ask for a hefty percentage of the royalties from any productions based off my story instead.
