I get what you mean, but that's the thing you can't depict bigotry in a respectful manner since it is by essence something that is degrading to people.
bigotry against people isn't something that is generally good or even in the grey aspect of morality for the most part, so unless you want to write the story depicting it in a way that will be patronizing to people that have lived through those experiences or treating your audience like they're fragile, then it's better to write it as realistically as you're comfortable with or go the fantasy route and make scenarios that are not easily relatable with real life groups. At least that's how I feel whenever i read stories that contain these sorta themes, it generally feels like I'm being treated like a kid or a victim
