Model?

If you have a character design who's model or style changed slightly as you progressed your comic or any other art they're in, please share! It doesnt even have to be a major change. I can be something small like hair style. That's what happen with my guy overtime.

i changed victor's face shape between chapters 3 and 4 to make him slightly easier to draw. he was constantly off model (still kind of is) because hes one of the harder characters to draw repeatedly.

blaise also got rounded out a little more because he was starting to look a little too similar to my other character william

In chapter 1 and the prologue, Jaime and Jade were wearin' a sweater and cut off shirt, respectively.

But in chapter 2, they both switched out. Jaime's now got a sweater vest, while Jade switched to a big ol' coat!

Also, a while ago for my last comic, I made a little chart showing Jane's character design changes as the series went on! Kind of outdated now, it's missing about 40 strips, but whatevs.

Just redrew them to my current style. At first they had square heads, now I made them a little rounder.

Well, in my first comic, Ujnnne, Meshi's name was Mashi, yeah I know, creative:

He used to be an amputee and brown highlights on his his hair, short in the back. Also, sketchy scarf. Here's a cover for Ujinne issue 4, which never came out. This was only in June 2017, so as much as I want to distance myself from this, I can't believe how much I improved.

Here's the first appearance of meshi in my current webcomic, the Quos:

This was drawn in March 2018, I'm surpised I improved in such a short amount of time. Anyway, his design is pretty... eh. He has those prisoner pants and he has a decent looking sash around his sash, but I decided on a tank top rather than just... bare chested. Which would be a pretty mature choice for the time.

Well, there is this one grey-haired character within the "Stranger's" group during my lore/ world building name Hanif Ostoorah:

First, he wears a sci-fi-like suit of armor on page 14 :

Later he becomes the head leader of the militarist of Rashidaar on page 17:

And currently, he goes to war with a set full of armor that protected most of his body but his eyes and a small part of his neck on page 20:

It is hard staying on model. I was literally having that issue with my main character a few minutes ago and even having a "What's happening to me?!" fit.
