Just something I was wondering about. The way I understand it, if you get popular enough Webtoons will feature you and you'll get paid to exclusively post on their website. I think there was a chart somewhere that explained views to money you'd earn, but I can't find it anymore. The only real downside I'd see to this is that of owning a little less of your story. I know Delshing Helmer was on Twitter once explaining how important it is for artists to own their material (this was after that right of first refusal thing on Tapas by the way), and advocating for having your own site. I know a lot of webcomic artists will post on every comic website they think they can to promote, but promoted Webtoons wouldn't need to do that anymore (not that they could).
So would their be any real downsides to being supported by a company as big as Webtoon? Let me know below what you think!
