So, perhaps I'll take the advice from @IndigoShirtProd to consume media other than fantasy, adventure, and children's fiction genres, or anything that reminds me of Hilda. After all, my planned comic genre doesn't belong in those genres.

I've completed the campaign in Warzone 2100, a post-apocalyptic real-time strategy game while listening to the new soundtracks. It now sticks hard in my inspiration.
And I think I still don't have enough inspiration from two games, a few other webcomics. I need a few more inspirations to spend the last 11 days of 2021 before I stop consuming any media other than my comic drafts. Perhaps free webcomics on either Tapas or Webtoons, animations on YouTube, artworks (outside Instagram), or other free video games.

This way, my goal to get a deep feeling of awe from my story will more refocus on the new genres and community.

I wish this would end my inner conflict with Hilda, the "Artistic Insecurity" for the time ever and ever and ever.

Anyway, I need some more inspiration to spend my last days in 2021. Free plot-driven action science fiction comics/animations.

Free also means game playthroughs on youtube that you can watch as a movie, so:

Mass Effect
Control
Deus Ex:human revolution and Mankind divided. (personal favorite)
Detroit become human (not my jam but it's literally a movie.)
Deathloop
Metro (it's also a book but I think the final game wraps it up better)
Titanfall (why not..)
Literally anything since gaming isn't hurting for good sci-fi.

SCP foundation content. I still suggest youtube here since the youtubers curated that content better.
Warhammer storytellers, who tell stories in the warhammer universe.

Unfortunately I haven't found comics that grab me enough to come for more in sci-fi. It's a shame, or maybe I'm too pretentious.and I tried. But either the synopsis isn't interesting to me or I see red flags in it.

Not sure what the context here is, but if you’re looking for some good free sci-fi across different media for inspiration, my Frontier-0 project sounds kinda perfect for that ^^ I have a comic, which leads into an animated pilot, with a prose novella set in between them ^^ It’s very character driven, and it’s all free. Hope you enjoy it!

My comic is a superhero/cyberpunk/political staire series that should provide the things you seek.

Also, while it’s not free, I would STRONGLY recommend Metal Gear Solid for video games (even if it’s just watching Let’s Plays and cutscenes of the series)
