Any new comic hosting websites?

Are there any new comic hosting websites at the moment? It’s seemed that all the older comic hosting sites are either inactive or shuts down completely.

I heard of webcomicsapp but you have to submit your work to be reviewed and someone else will post your updates for you. It just so much work if you want to edit your panels.

At the moment; Tapas and Webtoon are the only two legit one where you can post, edit, and gained an audience for your comic.

Are there any other webcomic hosting sites like Tapas and Webtoon?

Don't know how new are we talking about but there's
Globalcomix (my 2 comics which barely make it to the popular page of BL on their update days were in last years top 10 in romance on globalcomix so I'd say it's easier there not to get your stuff drowned)
Flowfo which allows you to have different versions of your series without needing to make multiple series like on tapas
both of these don't have anyone manually reviewing your uploads

You can make your own page on ComicFury. It also has pretty nice stat services to monitor your traffic, and anyone can leave comments (without being signed in on comicfury). It's pretty neat.

Then again, traffic is always better if you redirect there from somewhere else, like twitter or instagram, etc. But same goes with Tapas and webtoon in that regard.

Is ComicFurry like Smackjeeves? Does it involved coding or complicated postings? I drop Smackjeeves because it’s so hard to post my updates.

You can code your page's theme, you can also click through a template's options
And posting updates isn't complicated at all (scheduling multiple updates in advance is actually way less bothersome than on tapas)

didn't recommend this one is it's neither new nor seems to have much traffic (at least to me)

You can code your whole page but it's not mandatory. They made simple UI to help you, so if you don't know how to code, you can just select some colors and fonts in a menu to make your page, or use a template.

I'm a noob at coding as well and it just took me a few hours to get it to work and they have a menu to post and monitor your stuff, so you will just have to set up the layout once. Not every time you update.

Free, the only thing I'm keeping behind a paywall is early access and uncensored version of my more nsfw series (using patreon and flowfo's subscription mode for that)

How many sites are you posting your comic to and how fo you manage it? Personally, I've had a hard time managing posting to multiple sites and I want to be more organized about it Would appreciate some advice as well.

These are all the places I post Vampire Prince to, some of them are very against mature content so I don't bother with BDSM Boys or Horny Hell (that one has the shortest list)
I don't know, I just open up all the sites once I'm done drawing and go through all of them, it can be especially a pain with the series I draw in batches as only comic fury provides a mass scheduler (I really have to watch out not to mess up dates while scheduling horny hell chapters '^^)

GAAAAHHHLLLEEEE, that's a lot of places! And you host your own website! Sheesh, I barely muster the three that I do post on, though I am thinking of adding 1 or 2 more. So on top of all of the sites you host your comic on, do you do exclusive content for your patreon? Not like NSFW content that's still apart of the comic, but extra stuff. And how do you manage your social media outside of the comic hosting sites and patreon?

Only 1 nsfw illustration per month for patreon and then I use its censored version as an ad
For social media, I rely heavily on PostyBirb to automate posting, I've got templates for all 3 comics updates and just schedule them on the update's day, similairly I've got templates set up for art I do on weekends (separate for nsfw and sfw as not every site allows nsfw ;p)

You have just completely systematized this, that's awesome! I think I have to look into PostyBitrb. ONe of my issues is just never really posting to social media because it takes time to organize all of that.

I should say that you can change this at any time, however -- how you promote yourself and what payment method you use does have significant impact on the way your comic is accessed.

wow. ok, i should post on more sites. You've inspired me to at least do comicfury, I was avoiding it cause the site looks like its from the 90's...

Do you feel its worth posting to all these sites? When I check out a new hosting site, I usually look at the top comics numbers, and if they're less than 1000, for the top comic... it doesn't seem worth it the extra effort. Or do you find every little bit helps.

My take is you never know where you'll find your audience. I mean, if a site looks off (like a one that was advertising some time ago that had some anime fanarts as a background and wonky css in general) I won't bother. But I'd say it's worth giving even some newer and smaller ones a try, especially if you don't need to make a separate export for them because of site requirements. Some of them may even actively promote you (epico posts trailers they make from your pages for new series and once in a while for further updates to their instagram and twitter and globalcomix posts about series updates to reddits, plus both sites have been liking my social media posts and even if it doesn't bring that many readers it does feel more validating than being ignored on tapas community posts ;p)

Does ComicFury gain a lot of traction?

Not really, I'd say it's good for a mirror you have more control over and don't have to pay for (unlike let's say, hosting your own website) but it seems so creator focused that it has pretty much only creators but hardly any readers '^^

Not a website at the moment I don't think, but there's a new storytelling app called Intale for Android and IOS, which has a really nice feel, but because it's a lot newer, there isn't too big of an audience for it yet
