I mean, making comics for a living has been a dream of mine since I was a kid, so I certainly wouldn't complain if I were able to make enough money to quit my day job and just work on my own stories for the rest of my life...
That said, I'm also perfectly aware that making a living out of art alone is super hard and I'm happy to have a (still art-related) day job that allows me to pay the bills and also work on my stories at my own pace, with no deadlines or whatever to worry about. My style and genre don't even remotely fit what's popular on Tapas, anyway, so I don't really have any hopes to get picked as a "premium" series to begin with, tbh :'D
I maaaaaaay have a better chance on Webtoon, but then again, from what I could understand, to make a premium series with them I'd pretty much have to leave my day job in exchange for a salary that's only slightly better than my current one (or maybe even lower, 'cos apparently Webtoon artists also have to use that salary to hire assistants? ). Then, once the comic is done, chance is I'm going to be left with no contract, no salary and no way to get back to my previous job, in a country where unemployement rates are ridiculously high.
So... yeah no, thanks, I'll stick to what I have and keep comics as my side gig
