I can relate to that, the pixelated and box type figures are disappointing to watch, sometimes they are unbearable to play.

If you're enjoying the Ori games and getting into Metroidvanias, you might like Hollow Knight if you haven’t played it yet. It blends tight platforming with exploration really well, plus the atmosphere and soundtrack are incredible. I’m also into story-driven games and ended up really liking Control, not quite open world but still has good exploration and cool gameplay mechanics.

Sometimes when I just want to chill and not get too deep into storylines or missions, I mess around with browser games during breaks. Found some fun ones on https://sites.google.com/site/unblockedgamesportal/ with free unblocked games to play at school or work. Just quick, no-hassle stuff that passes time.

Fallout 4 is pretty good. I’m from Massachusetts so it has a special place in my heart.

I'm not much of a gamer so I'm sure my suggestions are gonna be normie as hell. I'm also not a shooters girly.

Nier Replicant and Nier Automata are great story driven games if you want to have your heart ripped out of your chest.
I'm also pretty fond of a lot From Software games; dark souls series, Elden Ring, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Bloodborne if you have a play station 4 or 5.... Bloodborne being my favorite, of course.
Older games like Dragon Age Orgins, 2, and Inquisition are pretty fun. The newest one isn't the worst thing in the world, but I prefer the older titles.
I know you said you weren't a big fan of turn based stuff, but Baldur's Gate 3 is a great game.

Wolfenstein New order and New colossus. They might seem like meathead shooters, but they have an incredible story and great characters.

I'd recommend all final fantasy titles for single player experience, except for FFXI since its an MMO.
