So I know I already made a topic regarding designing a cover a while back, and I feel a little bad about asking basically the same questions a second time. However, this cover is for a completely different genre than last time, and I don’t have a working cover in place to go off of. I’ve also been racking my brain trying to think of ideas for the past week, and I’ve come up with nothing, so yeah... I need help.
I want to make a graphic novel based off of my series Oh Shut Up! - My Life With Auditory Hallucinations. It wouldn’t be so much a story as it is a commentary on life, kinda like Hyperbole and a Half. The “story” would basically be how I came to be diagnosed with auditory hallucinations, and how I turned the voices into characters that affect my day to day life.
I remember hearing somewhere that characters form a better connection with potential readers than objects alone, so I guess I should put my avatar and the characters somewhere on the cover. I guess I need help with what they should be doing exactly.
Again I feel really bad about making a second topic about cover design, but I didn’t know where else to turn.
