Anyone been contacted by reps from Goodnovel? Is it legit or a scam?

Hello lovely Tapas community. I'm a relatively new author on here. I've had a comment on one of my novels from a rep from GoodNovel. Has anyone else been approached to sign on with them? I've found the site alright, but don't want to email the rep back if it's a scam or fishing attempt. It sounds like if my story is approved it would be a great way to earn some money...but again I'm new to this so I don't want to be taken for a ride!

Spam comments with wild offers are a regular thing here.

Here's a recent one.The account's made 92 posts so far, all the same one.

Thanks for your comment. Do you know if there is a way to flag these comments to Tapas so they can stop them fishing on here? I thought to ask on here first, but the next person might be tricked into email them and getting fished.

E-mail a report to feedback@tapas.io with a link to the account's profile and a description or screenshot of their offenses.

These types of spam comments always feel so insulting to me because not only do they not have even the barest amount of personalization, and they basically ask you to submit to THEM instead of the other way around. At least with most publisher scams, they try to offer you a bad contract with really low advances; this one acts like they don't actually want you, and you have to beg for their good graces before they'll accept your work. Like, come on. At least pretend to be professional about it.

I had received the same thing few days ago and trust me these emails were following me anywhere i go (Wattpad) Some were from Webnovel, Novelcat, Goodnovel, or any underrated reading/writing sites/applications. Best to avoid them to not waste time and effort into investing in something that won't happen/go well.

I got one too and just got sad because I know they didn't actually read my chapter
