It was released as four individual games. Monster Rancher did what Pokemon and Digimon never had the courage to do. Which was the monsters would die after a while.

So, yes, Sailor moon . Oh My Goddess was my top fave/obsession/biggest influence. But I also loved Dragon Half, All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku, Your Under Arrest.

Cannot recommend Oh My Goddess enough! I think a lot of the episodes and the whole movie are on youtube.

My dad loves anime so he has a huge weird collection. Dragon Half is the silliest thing ever about a dragon girl who wants to become full human so her idol singer crush will love her. All propose cultural cat girl is about a cat that dies and it's brain is put into a robot android girl.

I love Utena. I didn't have the anime but I had some of the manga. Not enough though. I never got to finish it.

i don't watch anime nowadays, not entirely my thing anymore, but i used to be hardcore obssessed with hetalia around 3-4 years ago. to the point that i created a bunch of characters in the same vein as hetalia, except they're all human planets (now it became a fantasy/sci-fi story with lots of stakes lmaoo)

i've been meaning to watch sailor moon crystal for the sole reason of seeing sailor saturn, even though i've never watched the original sailor moon (yes, sue me, but i grew up on inuyasha and bleach instead ok lmao)

Well, they ran in absolutely different times, there are like 7 years or something between Sailor Moon and Inuyasha/Bleach, so I think if it's anime "you watched growing up" it purely depends on your age =)
