I used to work on an animation studio for 3 1/2 years before turning freelance. I haven't done any animations as of late because comics but here's something I did back in Christmas 2014.

This was a little test animation I recently drew of the Gurren Lagann transformation scene from the anime's opening!

I'm an aspiring animator (in training) that would like to start my own animated vlogging channel on YouTube. Only problem is that I really hate my own voice, probably because I find it weird talking to an implied audience and then my speech becomes awkward. I also should get a better mic. Can someone please help me out with this problem of talking to myself? T^T

Yep. The hubby and I went to school for it and met there. We've both worked in studios and collectively we've done work for both game and series with Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, PBS and Fox. We both love animation, which is why our comic is so heavily styled in an animated way. While we enjoy animation, it's not a very forgiving job, and where we live the industry is constantly rising and falling. Studios where we live (east coast, south) are becoming more common, but getting LA or NYC branches to give us continued work has been a struggle for everyone. This means a studio will get a job and then there's a few month long hiatus' while they find the next one. It's REALLY frustrating to say the least.

I've very recently (like 2 months ago) started animating, and I love it so much!! I'm currently doing all of the 51 Animation Exercises to Master challenge, and after I'm done that I'm hoping to re-animate some scenes in a few cartoons I like, to practice animation further.
I would like to start a small animated web series at some point, but first I need to practice, because I'm not very good at animating at all RN XO
